Did it in October in the Canaries then the other week in mainland Spain didn’t need to repeat, so hopefully this will be the norm .You may have to do it again according to reports.
I have been pretty lucky at Faro the last few years, I have had family in some of those viral queues and then a week later i've sailed through straight to the front of the passport booth, hoping a strike lucky with this nonsense not sure if they have a separate queue for families with young kids (He's only 3 so he wont have to do it)Probably take you another 4 weeks to get through the finger print queue.

Been to the Canadian side of Niagra Falls, it’s Blackpool with a big waterfall, stopped at Niagra on the Lake on the way, that’s a beautiful place and well worth a visit for a few hours. Also visited a nearby Vinyard where they make Ice Wine, well worth a visit.Just back from weekend in Bristol (first time there and enjoyed it)

Won't be cheap, nothing is these days, though BA flights from Heathrow at sensible times weren't too bad.
