Burnley (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Correct, he isn’t the new Rodri, no one is. But he’s a very decent player and should have started in the middle, when he finally came on we looked much better.

Looked much better? What passing backwards?

As much as some won't admit it, he isn't good enough, never has been really, shame and all that but it's the way it is, expect a departure in the summer

Oh and by the way it was Pep who once called him a mini Rodri, not me

Just to bring a bit of maths to the shitstirring likes of Richards and rat boy. Promoting to the gullible, City should hit these for four or five tonight. As bad as Burnley have been, only five times have they lost at home all season, by a two-goal margin. Arse 0-2 Chelsea 0-2 Newcastle 1-3 WHU 0-2 and BHA 0-2. Does that not put into perspective that firstly we had to win last night? No fucker has hammered them at Turf Moor all season. To sum up GNIAC, Sky Farts are wankers and most of their commentators and so called experts are fucking clueless.

Excellent context.

Get a bloody grip. Could have took a bit of pressure off? WE WON THE MATCH AND WENT TOP.

If beating Arsenal at Wembley, putting 4 past Liverpool in a must win game for both sides (to stay in the cup), 3 past Chelsea away then beating Arsenal again in a match that would have probably put them in an uncatchable position if they had won, then coming through a match against a team that had to win to avoid relegation, and throughout all of that only conceding one "fluke" goal isn't flying then I don't know what is.

The expectation levels of some of you from a team nobody gave a prayer of even catching Arsenal a month ago is fucking absurd.

Reading some of these posts anyone not knowing the score would think we had lost, not just gone top for the first time in over 6 months.
This.

Started really well and got the goal we deserved. It then became a bit of a slog even though we continued to dominate. Burnley defended well at times and coupled with our below par finishing resulted in the opening goal being the winner. 3 pts was the priority so all is well in that context. Stating the obvious but would really like the GD bumped up a bit. Over to Arsenal next few games now.

Burnley fans at work this morn saying it’s the loudest away following they’ve heard all season, was proud to have been amongst us, it was magnificent non-stop support from each & every one of us, & a wins a win “city city top of the league” :)
I was sat in enemy territory last night - behind the goal at the end where Erling scored - and our away support last night was brilliant. Loud, proud and constant throughout the game.

Didn’t know Burnley home record as in goals they conceded was 2 the most! So sky didn’t check that and that’s not new by that dum lot lazy lot! It’s there job to know! Laying into Haaland after the game was a bit overboard! You understand Haaland not knowing Burnley home record if he did he could have then asked her what’s the most goals they’ve concede this season at home?

Wow calm down dear.
Going top was all that mattered obviously but it would of been even better had our finishing profitted us a couple more goals to really dampen Arsenal's spirits.
Like I said in another post, win all our games means we'll be scoring goals and that should make us champions again.
You don't have to remind me of what we've achieved in the last few weeks, so you can take you little rant elsewhere mucker.
