Also mate, let’s be honest, there is absolutely zero way it’s only being decided at the beginning of May, not even City would allow Pep that long to make his mind up, not a prayer imo.

What will be, will be.

He knows the club, many of the players know him, he’s a Pep disciple and doppelgänger, and even Pep has lauded his abilities.

Like many, I expect VK to be City manager at some point, but why would he leave a perfect situation at Bayern to follow Pep, especially with a good long term contract under him?

I will trust the club has done its homework, that Pep has been integral in that process, and that Khaldoon will have no qualms doing whatever is needed, whenever it’s needed, to ensure the long term success of this club for as long as Sheikh Mansour wants to maintain his ownership.
 
i will not even try to pretend to know what pep has in his mind but considering hebis recently divorced he probably needs time off to maybe deal with it, be with his kids, go on dates. So i see him taking a year off in catalunya.

After that a national team i think, although his favorite international job is probably the only one not available to him, as ancelotti took it already

Not a huge surprise, given the amount of speculation, but still absolutely gutted. What a ride it’s been, the end of an incredible era. Winning the domestic treble would be a fitting end though for the greatest manager of all time.

As has been speculated, the new North Stand will be named in his honour and Enzo Maresca is his replacement.

There’s little point in me adding to the noise. The club’s point of view hasn’t changed for the last six months and there’s a reason why nobody has actually written this supposedly public knowledge story. I’d expect if anyone in the media actually had a real reputable source saying it’s decided. They’d write it.

I never said you didn’t, I wasn’t involved, but to be fair you were in no uncertain terms telling posters they were wrong about Pep leaving. In fact you put a few posters down. You went out there, all I am asking is do you stick with your posts over the last few days, or do you except you might have it wrong?
 
It’s all a bit daft really. You pass on something someone has told you because you think it’s relevant to the thread. Before you know it’s been screen shotted and all over Twitter. People acting like I’ve said it will 100% definitely happen, rather than just passing on what I’d heard. Then Liam Gallagher replies to it and all hell breaks loose! Seeing people on there saying I personally started the rumours that Matheus Nunes has cancer, which is fucking ridiculous (particularly given it’s a rumour that actually started on Twitter). At least it’s served as a reminder why I’ve largely binned that platform off!
