Pep Guardiola - 2025/26

We’re in the end game either way.

If he stays we’ll only get one more year and then he’s gone.

I’d be sad if he goes now because I think he’s just built another team that will dominate, and after a World Cup isn’t great timing for a new manager, but if we were getting a manager I really rated rather than Maresca I’d probably feel differently.
That’s where I’m at with it too, mate

Sadly, have been told by someone who’d know that the rumours about Pep leaving at the end of the season are indeed correct. Praying it’s not true, but he’d have no reason to lie :(

Not a huge surprise, given the amount of speculation, but still absolutely gutted. What a ride it’s been, the end of an incredible era. Winning the domestic treble would be a fitting end though for the greatest manager of all time.

As has been speculated, the new North Stand will be named in his honour and Enzo Maresca is his replacement.
Just ruined my weekend.

I've seen for weeks now how tactically close he has been with his daughter, as if he's promised her he's getting out and having a break.
Can't blame the legend, just gutted the UK Media can't respect the man just because he's City

Oh piss off
It's not some transfer news the forum was waiting to hear, it's the opposite. Also, the post has already gone public outside this forum and it won't be long before the media start questions about Pep's future. At the end of a close title race, the less distractions the better.

Be a nightmare on here with a new manager one loss it be he is shit he crap sack sack him! We will win nought with him! I’ll be giving who ever it is 18/24 months to show me something! We have to compete to the end of a season for me if we don’t win anything, that is football but sooner or later a winner will! We won’t be giving any manager 3/4/5/6 years like one manager is getting! Mainly because that club are happy to bring the money in with constant champs league qualification! We Ain’t that club..

It will be the saddest day when Pep goes. He is a genius, and a marvellous human being to represent the club.
All eras come to a close, and he has earned the right to make his choices. We will have chosen his immediate replacement long ago, and we will have a succession plan too. We are an incredibly well-run club that will survive the choppiest of waters. I will shed a tear though, and that is rare - Vinny was the last, and I came close with John Stones' video this week.

Cold fucker...
I can see why you’d say that, my friend. It’s inevitable though, and there’s something about a decade that curves everything off. He’s won everything for us, some of it multiple times.

From a personal level i can cope with it being an instantaneous decision, and not some long, drawn out affair like when Klopp left the dippers. Just done and dusted.

Also been told by somebody within the club the exact same.

Again, by somebody who would know and not prone to bullshit

In fairness mate, it’s very likely they already have the same intel but without any proof they can’t report it as fact and like others have said, they don’t want to look silly if he changes his mind.

Hence the now quite old reports on Maresca being lined up as his replacement and the decision being Peps at the end of the season.

I don’t think they’ll be any articles from real journalists quoting bluemoon posters.
