Disappointing, but showed some balls to come back. Far from over yet.
For those digging out our fantastic away support for having the temerity to leave at 3-1 down with 9 mins to go. Come on, I bet there were plenty at home who turned off in disgust and plenty who headed for the door at the pub. Frustration and disappointment does funny things to people.
Banning them from tickets and advising fellow Blues to fuck off? Deary me.
Disagree, I can't get on board with that at all.
We absolutely hammer United fans when they bail early, call them plastics, question their loyalty - and then turn around and do the exact same thing ourselves? That doesn't sit right surely? You can't have it both ways. Either it matters or it doesn't.
Yes, frustration gets the better of people, of course it does. But this team has given us everything lately. A trophy already in the bag, another final to come, playing some incredible football - this is a special side with a special manager who has written a proper chapter in our history. Records have tumbled and trophies have been lifted. That demands backing, especially when things aren't going our way. Far too many of those fans around these days, you just have to look in the match day thread tonight or on X/Twitter.
Walking out at 3–1, with time still on the clock is exactly when the players need us most. Not when it's comfortable, not when we're cruising, but when we're up against it. That's what support actually means.
No one's saying ban people or go over the top with it, that's nonsense. But let's not dress it up either - it’s not a great look, and it's not what this team deserves. We will very rightly get hammered all across social media too now.
