Semenyo and Guehi subjected to racist abuse: club statement

Such a shame. Great game of football where the only disappointment for both sides is that we both threw away a win.

Hopefully the racist abuser will never see Everton play again. Well done to Everton and Everton fans to catch him and act swiftly. Ban the racist for life and prosecute him.

Whoever did the online racist abuse whether it was some from our lot or Everton or both I hope they nail them. Prosecute and ban them for life.

There is no redemption for this.

I hope our two beautiful boys get all the love and support they need. No matter how strong a person you are, racism hurts. It must be punished severely.
 
Boils my blood we must however remember it’s allegedly one knobhead, lifetime ban placed on an appropriate educational course and forced to do voluntary work for his local NHS.
 
Can you imagine the racial abuse non caucasian refs would receive if they were to be in any of the european leagues? Crazy to think about

Don’t get me wrong, I agree, but the levels of hatred towards officials everywhere isn’t normal or healthy.

If racism has been mostly stamped out I’m not sure how the most racist mainstream party of my lifetime is likely to be running this shitshow in a year or two

I’ve had my fair share of nights out in my younger days but it never turned me into a violent racist ****.

I might’ve had a heated debate about the best Suede b-side, that’s about as aggressive as it ever got.
 
Wasn’t it a Everton game some months ago can’t remember the Game or who the player was who received Racially Abuse.

By some Guy in a wheel chair .

Including this incident to our players I wonder if all racial abuse is reported at Everton and is it a hot bed for Racism.

Now where before every football game we have an advert kick racism out of Football.

Incredible to think with so many foreign and Ethnic minorities players and supporters at Game’s that racism still exists.

Racism is a curse on modern society
 
To tell you the truth the Guys age don’t surprise me . I go on political forums to challenge such behaviour and believe it or not a lot comes from the older generation.

I don’t know if it’s because there from a generation when there wasn’t much diversity in there Community. Or in General Racism was covered up .

That's on political forums, not at football matches, a huge difference.

Don't care what people's personal political views are outside football, each to their own, but there's no need for a 71 year old to be racially abusing an opposing football player and getting banned, just because he's a footballer with a different colour skin.

Everton has improved significantly since the 80s.
