This!
Hammers to beat Arsenal, us to win all our games
It's basically west ham or bust unfortunately, they have relegated Burnley and palace 3 days before their conference final. We need to beat Brentford so as to keep Arsenal looking over their shoulders. They need to be aware that 1 slip from them & City pounce.
There is currently a GD of 4 in arsenals favour. It's basically west ham or bust unfortunately, they have relegated Burnley and palace 3 days before their conference final.
I'd suggest even a draw for west ham might not be good enough when you look at current goal difference and the situation of those 2 other teams.
Yes, but we play Brentford, Bournemouth, villa in those 4 games. All top sidesThere is currently a GD of 4 in arsenals favour.
If they were to draw against West Ham, they would have 2 games left to improve that.
We have 4 games so GD will be very close, if we are level on points come the end of the season.
Yeah only way I see this happening is a West Ham win and we win all of our games.Yes, but we play Brentford, Bournemouth, villa in those 4 games. All top sides
Arsenal play a relegated Burnley and what is 100% going to be palaces B team with their final coming up 3 days later
Arsenal will most certainly end up with a better GD in my opinion. Delighted to be proven wrong, of course
No, its done. Everytime we have clawed our way back into contention we have fluffed our lines. If we had beaten Everton then yes but it was a shambles of a performance rescued only by a last gasp Doku strike. A draw just wasn't good enough. Drop points tomorrow against an in form Brentford and its absolutely over. As it is if you gave any team these three fixtures to win the title, West Ham, Burnley and Palace they'd bite your hand off. That's all a rejuvenated Arsenal, buyoud by reaching the champions league final have to do. They'll coast it from here.
I think it will be tight but that is only dependent on arsenal dropping points, of courseYes, but we play Brentford, Bournemouth, villa in those 4 games. All top sides

Can't disagree with any of that ..... our only chance now is to beat Brentford, preferably well, and hope Arsenal drop points in a game or two ... right now it's definitely Arsenal's title to lose.
Unless we win the next two games that match is of little significance to us. Also, if we play like we did in our last two away games we will almost certainly lose but that is something to ponder on down the line. There is now a significant possibility of the 6th placed side getting a CL spot. Bournemouth are currently in 6th!
You can view this development positively or negatively. Bournemouth won't know then if Villa have won the Europa League but it is going to become a goal for them. It might be good for City if they feel they have to win the game.
I am not sure but it is something extra to consider perhaps closer to the time.
Great analysis of the second half of the season which has not been worthy of champions. The fact that we still have an outside chance speaks volumes about how poor the quality has been this season. If we are to win it next season I would think we might need to be a hell of a lot better. It's bloody frustrating because in spite of rebuilding our squad and Arsenal being lauded as the greatest team on the planet it was there for us to win it. January was the month that killed us. Draws to Sunderland, Brighton, Chelsea and then losing to the rags. Forgetting the rags game that was six points lost from the draws that would now have us a point ahead of Arsenal with a game in hand. That January malaise carried on to the 1st of February when we threw a two goal lead away at Spurs, before four straight victories including that magnificent Liverpool away victory. March was just as frustrating, draws to Forest and West Ham meant another four points dropped.
We did the business in April including the rip roaring victory against Arsenal to incredibly still have it in our own hands, only to fluff our lines again on Monday at Everton, another two points dropped. We've almost run out of games now to turn it around and even if we win them all Arsenal only have to win their three, against moderate opposition and the title is theirs. Our fixtures include in form Brentford and Bournemouth and Villa who are always a tough opponent.
We call Arsenal bottlers but looking at the games we've thrown points away since January , all from winning positions, Brighton, Forest, Chelsea, Spurs, West Ham and Everton we've bottled it outselves. That's TWELVE points which would now have us seven points ahead of Arsenal with a game in hand, as good as coasting to another title. Sure we are in transition and have players not used to this pressure and intensity but when we look back at the end of the season we will kick ourselves.
Obviously I'm still hoping for a miracle but sadly i fear we've run out of those now.

Brentford hardly in form. One win in seven in the PL since the end of February and their last two league wins have come against Burnley and West Ham. We should be beating them. No, its done. It is the hope that kills they say! I was elated after we beat Arse but less so after Burnley. Arsenal playing two games at home did for us, although Newcastle had two easy chances which could have made a difference.
I always knew Everton were not a given. They have become tough to beat but I did not see our defence going back to their pre Jan give aways!
For me its on this weekend. We need to win (forget goal difference though more would be better) and hope Arse drop points. If they win then for me they are home and dry!
