Having an idea isn't the same as knowing. As you say he is a legend so he has earned the right to make the announcement on his own terms. For all we know he may have let City know already.

He's got one year left on his current contract. Unless/until someone at the club or Pep himself says he's going, then he's staying. Simple as that.

There's no release clause. Haaland literally said when asked about the charges and signing a long term contract - "you can see how confident I am.."
