Not optimism, rather rationalism. I don’t think Guardiola will walk when still under contract and particularly when he knows the assembled squad is capable of something special next season.I admire youre optimism
After Bournemouth I think. He is a very good actor if he is going and if he is going I suspect it be after the fa cup he will announce it

and Pep usually announces these things rather early. from what I've remember in he's Barca and Bayern daysNo way he’s leaving there would be a plan for the fans and announcements coming. Lots of media features and clips on we sites
What a guy.
Part of me thinks he'd actually prefer not announcing it to the public and just walking away when the time comes. He's never really been about big attention etc.

Yes to all of the above. There’ve been a few occasions this season when the backwards and sideways routine has really tested my patience, but when push comes to the shove, the thought of him actually leaving induces its own brand of panic. He remains our greatest asset and all the stinking rags and gooners out there know it. An extension would be a thing of beautyI think you're right, but 10 years deserves a mighty send off and the club wouldn't sit tight on that. He would want his players to take the applause but he couldn't have a send off at the start of another season when there is a new manager.
He has a year left and I don't think he will leave this summer, it doesn't suit the club. Next summer, on paper, with no summer tournament makes so much more sense for a new manager to come in.
I personally think he will extend again. The players are still listening to him, the hunger from him is still there. He looks relaxed rather than burnt out which is positive for him staying beyond this contract.

...and he was late.Watching his press conference - he's walked in looking angry about something!
