Pep Guardiola - 2025/26

I admire youre optimism
Not optimism, rather rationalism. I don’t think Guardiola will walk when still under contract and particularly when he knows the assembled squad is capable of something special next season.

Win on Saturday and Arsenal implode and we somehow do the ‘unthinkable’, then I could see him reappraising, but otherwise I think he’ll want to bow out on a higher high.

No way he’s leaving there would be a plan for the fans and announcements coming. Lots of media features and clips on we sites
and Pep usually announces these things rather early. from what I've remember in he's Barca and Bayern days

Part of me thinks he'd actually prefer not announcing it to the public and just walking away when the time comes. He's never really been about big attention etc.

I think you're right, but 10 years deserves a mighty send off and the club wouldn't sit tight on that. He would want his players to take the applause but he couldn't have a send off at the start of another season when there is a new manager.

He has a year left and I don't think he will leave this summer, it doesn't suit the club. Next summer, on paper, with no summer tournament makes so much more sense for a new manager to come in.

I personally think he will extend again. The players are still listening to him, the hunger from him is still there. He looks relaxed rather than burnt out which is positive for him staying beyond this contract.

Yes to all of the above. There’ve been a few occasions this season when the backwards and sideways routine has really tested my patience, but when push comes to the shove, the thought of him actually leaving induces its own brand of panic. He remains our greatest asset and all the stinking rags and gooners out there know it. An extension would be a thing of beauty

The brand of football we play is to be expected from a side that is still developing. We still have a vulnerability, particularly without Rodri that means safe slow passing creeps into our game. The punishment for making a mistake is often a goal because of our lack of physicality and that soft centre we can have. We're going in the right direction, have played some great football at times and even at our worst since his first season made a cup final and have added two more this season.

It's a results business, he gets results. Someone else might have us playing better at times but the results and consistency would be miles off what Pep could achieve. He's the best in the world and the man every club out there would want if he was available. Until that's not the case we have to keep him for as long as he's happy to stay!

Watching his press conference - he's walked in looking angry about something! Rodri will travel and they'll decide tomorrow if he plays.
