How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

Zelenskyy made one of the better arguments I've heard for the UK being in the EU, certainly better than anything I heard from our politicians in the build up to the referendum. If they put it out to a vote again they really need to do a proper job of selling it to the country instead of phoning it in again.

I can't see the EU allowing the UK back. They can see that Reform will likely win the next election and Farage is obviously no fan of the EU.

Germany is not letting us back in as an equal partner after working so hard to get us out.

We won't be rejoining any time before any possible Farage government,we will have closer ties that come with huge penalties for reneging that even Farage won't be able to get out cheaply.

You recall Cameron only went for a referendum after the Germans wouldn't renegotiate and of course Black Wednesday - when they failed to support our attempt to follow the ERM, in fact sabotaged it.

The Eu wouldn't negotiate, why and how could they. This is just weird nonsense.
