Players who might improve us

A top winger should be brought in ,who can play on both sides if needed. Also Midfield needs some reinforcements , somebody a bit more like Kevin would be great. Somebody who can carry the ball, has energy , can pass and has a shot in him if needed. Also a proper full back is needed.

Tbf think unless a world class option like Olise becomes available thats just too good to avoid then I think were OK

Semenyo was the outstanding winger in the Prem this season and we signed him, couple that with Doko whos been among the best in the world we are set. Think Cherki can play on the right effectively also Foden, then Savinho is the backup option

Wingers are struggling in the Prem, if we want a winger itll be for Europe purposes

Also as someone said above, McAidoo is electric its good he could get some opportunities

Don't we know it the wingers have struggled in the prem this season. I think we have tried 7 this season as wingers/. wide players. Bakwa and Hutchinson glimpses only CHO seems injury prone Ndoye not good enough and three non natural players in MGW ,Dominguez & McAtee.
 
The physicality of teams is unprecedented, and sides are so well organised that they can quickly arrange three defenders to block wingers. It’s little surprise then that we have ended up with two behemoths out wide and Savinho coming off the bench when teams tire or the result forces them to be open. In such circumstances, there is little point seeking yet another winger unless he is already fully developed. Instead, we can take our time to develop and sparingly use McAidoo or other prospects. The wings are not a priority.
 
Interestingly, Ayoub Bouaddi (18), the young defensive midfielder at Lille, has decided to represent Morocco and might now go to the World Cup this summer. Played in the same France U21 side as Cherki.
Outstanding talent and shows the embarrassment of riches ahead of him.
 
Have said before but I really don't think we need that much this summer. Just 3-4 more players to complete the set.

New back-up RB - could be Cambiaso, we've been linked again
New back-up CM - should be Gonzalez but Pep seems to have a thing against him, so who knows
New back-up CF - Marmoush likely to go, but might be worth just promoting a kid

We're likely to finish on 80+ points this season and have won a cup double. Don't want to upset the apple cart with too many changes. Just little tweaks to the squad here and there that will take us up that last level in the league and in Europe again.

Totally agree. We probably need a holding midfielder more than anything, especially if Rodri goes and it's not looking like Gonzalez is going to get the vote.

He’s on one of those ridiculously long contracts at Chelsea. He needed two others to help him squeeze Doku but looked much less comfortable once the game opened up and it was one-on-one. He’s now had 8 games against us and his defence hasn’t kept one clean sheet. Not all his doing, granted, but he never strikes me as someone who would improve on what we have.
