PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Imagine back in Nov 24 when the hearing finished someone had told us that in May/Jun 2026 we still wouldn't know. We've had to endure this shit for nearly three and a half years now in total.

I pretty much don't interact with anyone about football who i don't know now, as when i do, it usually just ends up with petty comments by opposition fans about cheating and 115. The media is a shit show and click bait heaven for the 115 brigade. Its completely transformed how i engage with football these last 3 years and if i'm honest its drained a lot of the enjoyment of what being a City fan was like before this.

On the pitch and in the stadium as good as always, off it i can just leave football well alone and that used to be never what i was like. I was a proud City fan who loved nothing more than sitting in a bar on holiday somewhere drink a pint, watching a game and having a laugh about football with random fans. That's totally gone and for me and completely down to 115 and how the PL and media have driven it.

Thank fuck for BM and the insights on here into how the charges actually stacked up as the media, PL and opposition fans would happily see City wiped from the face of the earth.

Very true I was speaking to a southern Everton fan in Euston on Sunday, took him 3mins to mention us getting relegated.

That's how I feel.
Even on holiday I don't bring up football with anyone or is usually leads to 115 how much money city have spent or empty seats. Zzzzzzzzzz

Yes just seen a Facebook message from a so called friend. Mentioned Soton and said it’s corrupt with our 115 charges.
Asked him if he understood the difference between a charge and a guilty verdict.
He’s a Rag btw so I’ve factored in the lack of brain cells.

Yea the press/media have certainly 100% behind the hatred towards or club and us fans.
Ive wear City clobber all the time and there has been an increase in abuse that gets shouted at me. No violence just verbally, its usually plastic rags, gooners and dippers.
It's bizarre walking around SE Kent to get abuse from plastic fans.

They're in breach of their own rule, which requires a published outcome at the end of, or as soon as practicably possible after, a hearing. It's now 18 months, which is decidedly not "as soon as practicably possible".
