Enzo Fernandez

I can understand why Maresca would want him if they have a good relationship and he trusts him. But this is why we have a director of football, so that managers can’t run amok and make signings that don’t align with what the club is all about. Viana needs to hold firm and reject the notion of signing a racist ****.

Assume they’d want at least that back

Im sorry but hes literally nothing like Reijnder, its like saying Reijnders and Gundogan are similar

Enzo doesnt go hiding, he' always looking for the ball, he dictates the tempo, he shows creativity, he works hard, isnt afraid to put a challenge in, is vocal on the pitch. None of thise things apply to Reijnders

If he wasn't for the racist stuff I think he'd be a wonderful signing and quite a key one for how Maresca likes to play with two 8/10's around the striker

How to tell you’ve hardly ever watched the guy. He’s got barely any of those traits. His best attributes are passing and box crashing. He was an £100m signing and still doesn’t have a defined position, Santos plays in the position you’ve described him to play in & Caicedo does all of the hard yards and dictates the tempo. I’ll admit he doesn’t go hiding but that’s the bare minimum for a City midfielder. What else does he have?

Duel winning numbers for both Reijnders and Fernandez are low.
 
I remember watching him in the world cup when we were initially linked and I was all for it. He's clearly very talented. But he's also a full on dickhead and I can imagine feeling exactly the way I felt about Cancelo who was a shithouse too
 
Dont want some one with his kind of bad attitude in the dressing room. Our success has been built on a culture of respect and challenge in a respectful way......this guy is a the exact opposite of that.
