PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

If the world is about to come crashing down o no the club, wouldn’t the CEO at Old Trafford be twitchy that he lied on his interview about how close to all this he was during his time at City. If it did happen Omar knows where the bodies are buried, the rag hierarchy pushed on with his appointment. Would they have not carried out due diligence of what the risk and situation was at City if they are appointing someone CEO to a public company?

The only thing which could possibly go against your theory @feedmpenzaandhewillscore is that the rags are a desperately stupid and malfunctioning shitshow of a club and were determined to try and emulate City at whatever costs ? :)-

That’s it we are doomed then, least we know Enzo can do it in the championship.

They are all over it as they know gullible people will click on it and generate them cash.
A lot of these sites will go bust when the outcome is known and we become yesterday's news.
they have a bit of mileage in they paid them off or miscarriage of justice as weve all seen emails

Seeing as Pep leaving got leaked, I'm pretty sure that the outcome of this would be leaked, 100%.
And seeing as the press love a negative city story and we've not had anything at all about us getting charged, I'm pretty certain that we're not getting charged.

Didn't someone say that journalists sit on stories and wait for the right opportunity to drop it?
If we had been found guilty and they had got a leak about it they would have been shouting it from the rooftops by now because we know the red cartel journalists love a negative city story.

I think by next week it'll be out, talked about and done and I will be in my element watching the fallout and piss boiling from the hate mob.

Bill , 20 tropies in 10 years stood up to the haters, u cant reason with stupid lord knows ive tried, the best way to stand up to the haters and succeed, a lion does not concern itself with the opinion of sheep.
I fully understand and agree with that my friend.

We have responded in the best way possible by winning an unbelievable amount of silverware during Pep's tenure.

However there cannot be any doubt that City have been targeted by all forms of the media and the letter writing clubs to ensure maximum damage to our reputation.

I'm of no doubt that other clubs such as Liverpool, united and Arsenal wouldn't have let this build up to what has now become a frenzied feeding crescendo whereby anyone and everyone is having a dig at us, most probably safe in the knowledge that they will be untouchable..

Our chairman is confident, the investment in the playing staff and club infrastructure is a good sign too that things will hopefully work out in our favour.

I just feel that we will have missed a golden opportunity to make an example of a few of the ****'s who have gone out of their way to inflict maximum damage to the club without having a shred of evidence to back it up.

Please don't just accept the findings and move on City, inflict a bit of pain and finish one or 2 careers in the process..

You never know, going forward, it might just then make people think long and hard before jumping on the 'let's all kick City' bandwagon.

I don't think hundreds of people at the club will know to leak it.

It is most likely someone at the club will know a few hours to a day before it is announced, and it won't be a open secret for months like with JG.

The only thing that seems to be leaking is nervous fans. Tena are making a fortune.

I don't think City want the PL to be completely destroyed just disinfection of the problem Clubs of their main culprits who seem to dictate anti City policy within PL.

No doubt the snipers will be out shortly but just to be clear again.

- Nobody knows the outcome of the hearing except the panel. Of course, not impossible the draft came yesterday - but as of Wednesday it hadn't
- Parties will have a good feel after the hearing for those issues that were settled one way or the other vs those that it is too hard to tell (will know by the way the panel asked questions, general direction of travel of the hearing, performance of witnesses etc). Some things will have been abandoned, some things emphasised
- It is simply not true at all that the parties were told the nub of the result 3 months after the event or that the club doesn't know (whatever that means) but Khaldoon does - whoever has told Colin that is simply wrong. Personally, I feel persisting with this theory on here is misleading - given we are at June 2026, it couldn't possibly be true even if we didn't KNOW everything else we KNOW. To emphasise, the best City have (Khaldoon or anyone else) is an impressionistic view of how things went and, of course, advice and a deep understanding of how compelling City's own evidence was. Perhaps painful, but even Lord Pannick doesn't KNOW if City defended the most serious allegations aside from the points above
- That the club remains confident and approaching everything as business as usual is self evident
- Pep has not left because of 115
- Even if you don't believe me, Pannick himself has responded here (those emails are real and he would not lie or mislead on Blackstone email) and, as you'd imagine, gets asked about the case when in the outside world. As on email, he does not stonewall any question
- APT is irrelevant to the outcome of 115 partly because it couldn't be pleaded as it wasn't resolved
- No decision can take much longer than 19 months. As I have said we are now deep in outlier territory for any commercial arbitration, disciplinary, piece of litigation - decisions simply are not meant to take this long for the reasons I detailed in yesterday's article. I always warned it would take a long time but never imagined it could be in this extreme category. It is an embarrassment to the panel, completely unacceptable and, as I wrote yesterday, an invitation to challenge the entire process if it goes against one party and they want to challenge it
- From information I had a couple of weeks ago from a very senior Clerk, it does appear that the bulk of the drafting has been completed
The league should have played a straight hand and not threw 115/130 at the club. The decision would have been out months ago. Irrelevant now anyway, City is guilty as charged. The smear campaign worked.

What about Chelsea? No one cares they broke every sporting, financial and moral rule going.

The league created this mess when it was already cleared up at CAS.

Thanks for the update. Good to see you posting again.

The problem is that people put too much stock in what they say. They are merely fans with opinions. No different from any of us on here.
I take offence to that the vast majority of city fans are so different to howson, goldbridge, robbie et al that im not sure i consider them to be the same species.

The last line in my initial post is the key bit mate, what would it serve? its like you beating wayne rooney in a maths test for 5 year olds, its so easy that its not worth doing. The success is what eats at them and will continue to do so, city are so far removed from the moronic ramblings of youtubers, tabloid journos and two bit businessmen that it is a redundant undertaking. You are talking about people who do business with rulers of nations for us to attack them would give them credence they don't deserve, the continued success eats at them much more, they attack us through jealousy and nothing more.
