SISK and City have delivered what the fans asked for when the stand was first discussed.

I was very happy with the stand when I saw it at the test-event and when I was sat in the East Stand on Sunday. I don't think away fans are going to be singing Football in a Library any more.

So frustrating that they think this version is better. It just turns into a clap along. They literally just need to play the music and maybe first blue moon to prompt the crowd and then let the fans sing it unaccompanied and it would sound epic.

Absolutely

How nobody at the club who can actually change it realizes that's the case is beyond me

Spot on Marvin. Me too re Test Event and East Stand.

They just need to add a couple of old North Stand / Maine Road songs to the repertoire like. “O When the Blues go Marching In” and “We Shall Not. We Shall Not be Moved.”

Agree about this version of Blue Moon. Starts out fine but then get's jazzed up (poorly) and barked out it seems just to get it over with. If sung properly, slow and steady and with power, it could be almost on par with YNWA. Almost. Maybe.

Give a Listen to Elvis' version. Slow and melancholy. Prob not the atmosphere you're wanting to emulate, but miles better than the cheesey version done now. Grans sure like to shake their hips when the current version get's sped up though, which is a little cringe

I am in south stand level one and yesterday we hardly ever stopped singing all game . You don't really notice/hear other stands a lot as you're doing your own thing , unless they sing when you've stopped.

I am in the same area. There are quite a lot of singers in there!

The gaps are bad and, for a modern stand, the visible pipework is awful. Hopefully there is a plan to deal with both?

"The blues are here to stay that's what the people say" was one of my favourites
 
The seat removal is as the stadium gets ready for concerts, if I remember from previous years the pitch will start getting covered on Friday/ Saturday
