Enzo Fernandez

They have to sell a lot of players to invest though mate for Alonso as they are on coarse for their next accounts to lose well over £200m again!
And a lot of their players they bought have not increased in value.
Can't see them making much inroads in to their debt selling the likes of Delap and Gittens.

I guess Maresca can recommend players as much as he wants but if the club decide not to go for a player that makes perfect sense. An odd one though you'd think they'd want to back him if true Maresca wants him.

That's from 2 days ago, but this journo is very well connected re: Chelsea.

Fernandez isn't a priority now, but might become one if/when some City midfielders move: Kova, Gonzalez, Reijnders...

Anyone suprised Vianna hasn't looked at the danish lad he signed for sporting Hjulmand

Reports Mourinho may go for him over Enzo.

Btw I am not advocating buying him, doubt he is good enough, just a question

Chelsea need to sell over £150m of talent, expect all their linked journalists to be putting out stories to garner interest on the club. behalf

Why? They complement each other perfectly. Enzo dictates the tempo and brings elite passing, Anderson provides the energy and physicality, and Rodri is the anchor. It’s literally the perfect balance of steel and quality. Some of you look at names but don’t understand profiles.
Rodri dictates the tempo in our team, Caicedo does that for Chelsea. Enzo Fernandez has good passing but that isn’t his role at Chelsea. He’s not even that good when he plays deeper

Guess as well this depends on the Rodri situation, Kov going and just what Maresca thinks of the squad. So if to happen will be later on in the summer

What do they call it when you put out a midfield of Rodri, Anderson and Fernandez?

Oh yeah, I remember…WET DREAM!!

With that midfield, and Khusa, Guehi, and Gvardiol behind them, we could play a 3-3-4, with Semenyo, O’Reilly, Foden, Cherki, Doku, Savinho, Marmoush and Haaland literally terrorizing every defence in Europe. Rotation and subs would destroy most defences, with a solid 6 behind them, turning to a front 6 when Enzo & Anderson slide forward into the attacking shell.

It is SCARY how good we could be with investment in those two midfielders added to the mix, and we would look solid from front to back.

I still don't see this happening especially with Elliot Anderson's arrival. Again nothing wrong with his ability but it would be too expensive and comes with baggage which the media will soon pick upon if he did sign for City.

Marmoush couldn’t terrorise an over 80s afternoon tea party mate.
