Talking about the Rags. Whenever we are the chosen club it's always "we won't spend that much on him..." However they'll spend £70m and £350k a week on Casamiro won't they

Agree with this mate. Didn't help that Kovacic got chucked in to play a more defensive role at times and he's not a Rodri type player. His performances suffered for it and it took me a while to warm to him, but think you've described his time with us well.

We simply have to, otherwise we must move on. We have no midfield, it is the priority this summer, if we wait until after the world cup, we'll have a couple of weeks to buy a key player, all clubs see the desperation and fleece us for even more and we potentially end up rushing and making a poor choice if he ultimately doesn't end up coming and potentially ruin the season.

This has to be 100% done before the world cup. It had to be with Pep in charge, it's even more important with a new manager, Viana will have failed in his biggest task otherwise.
