Henry Nowak murder

We'll agree to disagree then.

Language such as unfathomable is unhelpful here though. It's a perfectly rational opinion even with the footage that the incident wasn't necessarily about race or conducted with racial prejudice. The only prejudice, in my opinion, was being totally misled by the initial reporters and making an assumption that Nowak was the perpetrator.
So you agree that their decisions and actions were formed with prejudice? That’s the part I said was unfathomable to think otherwise. You disagree with was racially motivated prejudice but you still think they were prejudiced.

I don’t believe they go into that scenario if both men were white or even if both men were Sikh. What is a fact is they took the accusation of racism as the most important claim of both parties and totally dismissed Henry’s claim he was seriously injured. It’s more than just believing the first phone call to lead them to that point.

The murderers didnt call for an ambulance though did they. They called the police with a bullshit made up call. I think 3 minutes for the police to realise what's going on is acceptable under the circumstances
Acceptable ? Would you feel the same way if it was one of your own ?
They got it wrong and there's no way of dressing it up otherwise . I still can't fathom why they didn't wonder to themselves as to why the alleged assailant was wiped out on the the floor, whilst all around were standing.

Obviously yes, since they were the initial reporters. They didn't tell Police that they are killers and a cover up crew. They lied and made themselves out to be the innocent parties.
And with 7 people walking talking and one prone saying they’ve been stabbed and can’t breathe you’re ok in it taking 3 mins and non responsive pupils before checking if they need medical assistance ok for first responders?

thanks for clearing up - just unusual phrasing imo, ta

It's not unusual in the slightest, given that's literally what they are. Haven't a clue why you'd take umbrage with that terminology here or what point you're trying to prove with it. They reported a crime to Police. For that reason, they're the initial reporters.

We all know what they are morally, but for the sake of discussing the incident at hand, "initial reporters" is accurate.

Sorry yeah, my mistake then as I assumed you meant racial prejudice given your previous post. I think they did treat the incident with prejudice, given what they were initially told, but I don't believe it was racial - just to clarify.

No idea what you're getting at. Where have I said or even hinted that it's ok? Are you confusing me with another poster?

Just caught up with some shit on X.

Imagine running so fast to get a selfie with Yaxley?

Or hurling bins at policemen who are there, simply to do a job?

All against the wishes of the family.

Go and fucking watch it then come back here and give your thoughts then.

My thoughts are that the authorities should carry out an investigation and take appropriate action as a result of that investigation.

Until that happens everyone needs to calm down a bit. Particularly those that seem to be relishing stirring the pot.

Watching a video, or not watching a video makes no difference to that.

OK, just FYI, I'm not taking umbrage at all with your terminology - I just think it's fkn odd - never heard it before, most on here would have understood perpetrators, killers, liars etc. They didn't report a crime to the police either.

Why are folk still peddling this nonsense that the murder and everything that has followed is about race.?
The murder wasn’t a racist one. I don’t think the police who responded were racist either. What we will see is whether much needed anti racist policing policy responses have gone too far and contributed to a dying man accused of a racist attack being ignored and seemingly mistreated as he lay dying

You need to watch the video. I’ve only watched part because it’s too horrific.
“I can’t breathe” “I’ve been stabbed”
“Put you your hands in the cuffs”
I don’t need an investigation to tell me that’s wrong. If you do, that’s your issue.

I dont have an issue and I've not said the police action is wrong or right.

They did. Police turned up and they told them they had been assaulted and the person who done it was lying on the ground.

Obviously it was total lies and they are a pack of utter pond life human beings, but they reported a crime to Police and Police (wrongly with hindsight, rightly or wrongly without hindsight) took their word at face value.

He's definitely been mistreated by the police. Could it of just been the 3 or 4 people stood there not blaming their son/brother clouded the coppers judgement. All blaming the lad on the floor and he's gone with their version of events. Not because they have brown skin just because there was a few of them against one lad? Obviously what happened next with the coppers response to the dying kid is terrible.

They reported a lie to the police, not a crime. No crime had been committed except the one(s) they had concocted.

Jesus Christ, they reported a crime to Police which turned out to be a lie. They didn't report a lie, but their report WAS a lie. Why are you being so pedantic over all of this?
