Nigel Farage

And so are those that would vote to see him as our PM.
I live in New Moston, a working class district in North Manchester. Similar to much of North Manchester, in the recent local elections most went Reform. I've always voted Labour so I've asked lot's of neighbours who and why they voted and yes, many did vote Reform. I've known these neighbours for years, know their cares, concerns and values. I can assure you they are NOT cunts and calling them cunts is just pure bigotry. They are just normal people like you and me. Trying to turn all Reform voters into knuckle dragging right wing nutters may be comforting but it is just not true.

Did you ask why they voted Reform?

At least 16 serving or former policemen have killed women. For a man who claims to want to protect women (same as Yaxley), they've a funny way of showing it...

These are their names, if you're interested...

i] Claire Howarth, 32, (2009); Josephine Lamb, 58, (2009); Samantha Day, 38, (2011); Heather Cooper, 33, (2011); Janet Methven, 80, (2012); Nataie Esak, 33, (2012); Victoria Rose, 58, )(2013); Emma Siswick, 37, (2014); Jill Goldsmith, 49, (2015); Leanne McKie, 39, (2017); Avis Addison, (88), (2017); Bernadette Green, 88 (2018);Alice Farquharson, 56, (2019); Luz Margory Isava Villegas, 50, (2019),Claire Parry, 41, (2020); Sarah Everard, 33, (2021).
5 of these 16 murders were committed by serving police officers and Luz Margory Isava Villegas killer was an ex Columbian policeman if you're interested.

Well if you don't think that people who are happy to be responsible for helping elect a PM who:

Bullied Jewish kids and marched to Nazi songs
Helped make everyone worse off by lying about Brexit
Takes £5m bungs for his "security"
Politicises the death of a teenager whilst completely ignoring the wishes of the family...

need I go on?

I'm sure the above are some of the values, cares and concerns that "normal" people espouse-not.

Oh, and if you want to see more of the nasty shit they come out with, watch the interview Jenrick did with Robert Peston earlier in the week.

Did you ask why they voted Reform?
Yep. I quite regularly ask people who they vote for, don't know why that's seen as weird!!
Anyway, as best as I recall there were 4 main reasons given.

1) They like Nigel Farage and his policies.

2) They do not like Tories/Labour so that only left Reform. i.e not a vote for Reform but a vote against the other parties.

3) New Moston is fairly close to Oldham/Rochdale which both have large Asian populations. The overspill is starting to move into New Moston and some people do not like it and want to upsticks themselves. So 3 couples on our street have moved already for that very reason (they said). As an aside my sister in law used to work on the housing section in Salford and she is adamant that all races when applying for a house stated a preference for living close to their 'own' so I'm not sure that the behaviour of my neighbours could be called racism.

4) Money. The thinking is that the influx of Asians onto the street will affect house prices negatively (I've no idea whether that is so). So voting Reform and curbing immigration keeps money in their pocket and their house price high.

Seriously? There used to be a phrase "never kissed a Tory" and now we seem to have one "never kissed a Reform voter". Personally I try to take people as I find them. I do not expect perfection from anyone (we all have skeletons in our closet?) I've been in houses and parties of Labour, Tory, Reform and probably all things in between voters. They all seem exactly the same to me. Love their kids, maybe love their spouse, love their animals, are reasonably considerate to other people, passionate about their team. Without asking them outright who they voted for you would not guess. I've tried many times, talked to someone for a few hours (I'm actually very affable), tried to guess their politics and got it wrong when I've asked the question. On our street we have one Tory (that I know about), he does all the collections for funeral bouquets, Christmas homeless etc (he volunteers to help the homeless one night a week). He put a vote Tory pamphlet in his window for some election or other and some good hearted person judged him and put his window in.

@Marklr can’t argue with the effort you’ve put into that response!

1. Which policies? I ask the same, and I only get the one answer: immigration.
2, So they choose the worst of a bad bunch?
3, Yeah, that's racism as far as I know. Not being able to tolerate other races.
4. See above.

Think I’d want to move myself if they were my neighbours to be fair

Say again? And it was a question... Why do you assume it's an argument? I haven't noticed any of your posts before (or I'm not familiar with your name), but I'm guessing you're one of these Reform voter "non racists" cunts?
Where did I say it was an argument?

I am the antithesis of Rupert the Bear.

Not Reform, I am a funny ****, though.
