I reckon its a positive that Chelsea have been mentioned. I reckon they have no interest at all, but someone wants someone else to know that if a deal isnt wrapped up quick someone else might jump in.

Maybe Liverpool getting a bit desperate.

Maybe its us linking chelsea. Fee agreed yonks ago. Liverpool dont want to be seen as a soft touch so they leak theyre holding out. We put in a new bid which is declined and now we leak chelsea are interested so it now seems that we will have to bid the agreed amount. Sounds feasible to me. Although i have fook all knowledge on how this shit works

Sounds spot on to me. Liverpool assumed we'd meet their valuation, but we know no-one will match our latest offer and that they need to sell, so have stopped increasing our bids. They're now worried we won't bid again so try to panic us by leaking that Chelsea are interested at the same price as our most recent bid, hoping it'll push us to up our offer. If we can see it, you'd be fairly confident Txiki knows the game too.
 
Fucking hate this media saying how well the poor old dippers are doing signing all these players getting these deals done quickly blah blah blah at the end of the day they've signed a popular player at City but certainly not a worldie (I wish him and only him all the best) the others besides Firmino (who is still massively unproven) are f*cking shite. Bogdan? Gomez? Ings you might argue could be ok but I'd say he's in the same league as Kelechi just with more experience at this stage whereas Kelechi has more prospective talent.

Sterling will be done and the only thing we'll have to worry about at the start of the season is how to afford Pie and Chips and a pint of Heineken at the Etihad.

Joe Gomez is the only one I would have been interested in. Only seen him a few times but looked a very promising player.

Whether that's as good as Tosin Adarabioyo & Cameron Humphreys, is a different matter.

Thanks for the update not seen anything of him to be honest...can't believe what I'm seeing on Sly...it's a Mecca for Rags and Dippers no one else.

That'll let us concentrate on fretting over Pogba next week. .. although I suspect Kevin will be signed first.
Still got to shift a few out yet as well. ..
Wonder who will be first to go and will they be a part of the deal (bye Dzeko).
