City & FFP | 2020/21 Accounts released | Revenues of £569.8m, £2.4m profit (p 2395)

Could this just be the French paper or radio station what ever it is playing games,i cant see where UEFA have said PSG are sanction free and we have to wait 2-3 weeks to find out if we are.

We weren't on the official list of sanctioned clubs back in May so we're not. L'Equipe could be telling porkies but they're usually in PSG's pocket.

Incidentally, I'll bet my Grandson's hamster on the fact that the report in L'Equipe about PSG is rubbish.

So does this mean our ban is lifted and we also can now go after our chief summer targets..
Yes/No/Maybe/Fuck Knows.

As far as I'm aware this story originates purely from a story (maybe only a tweet even) from L'eQuipe (sp) and everyone has ran with it with absolutely no other information added.
It would be staggering if true given how they stuck two fingers up at UEFA and got hammered for a 3 year period for it.

It did cross my mind that perhaps they're trying to drive a wedge between us and PSG as they don't want us combining and taking anyone on together given our total resources.

If tolmie should be right and we signed Pogba, Sterling AND De Brunye, FFP is gone 100%. That are EASILY 200m€

Less any outgoing players and associated salaries, and a player like Pogba would cover some of his cost in shirt sales, and improved sponsorship deals (hopefully).
Plus we don't know this year's revenues yet anyway, so they could have improved yet again.
We can't keep doing 200m a year, but we can do it for one summer, and go easier next summer and still be fine for FFP
