I've been on holiday for a week, without internet access. Can someone just confirm for me how our sanctions compare to those issued to PSG. Are ours better or worse and did they give any details of how we failed compared to PSG, or their reasons for how/why the punishments were calculated.

No not really.

At a guess it needs someone that is actually affected by our punishment. Club could but doesnt want to, fans could, sponsors could.

I'd be up for a class action brought by the fans.

Update.

I have been asked to change this mail but.

I know what to do if we want to join the action and for it to be effective. I will write it up and open a new thread later if the mods don't mind.

While I'm sure that the club could not put their name to any such action, we should, in the very least, guage their view on this.

Re: City & FFP (continued)

I have said it before and will say it again.... ffp is designed to keep the top european clubs... at the top!

Without spending millions no other team can break into that monopoly, you get a good team together and a big club comes in and buys the best players (Bale). If you want to win the prem you had to have big money (Bburn, Leeds etc)

And now they are closing that door. Which means the Utds' & RM's with their "big" income will stay top.

We fans have to do something imo, placards, protests highlighting the monopoly that ffp supports ... and that platini is a f..... dicktwat

IMO, it'd be the last thing the club would want.

its pretty simple really.

first off we weren't going to fail ffp because a few experts on bluemoon explained where we would be fine
then there was a rumour we had failed ffp
then eufa were accused of skulduggery
the experts on bluemoon were accused of skulduggery
I accused the wife of skulduggery
then city got fined some money depending on what you read, its 60m euros
then its 10m euros for two years
then a fat man fell off his ladders
bm decided it was an arab hitman
some people got upset about people making jokes about someone dying
city then released a statement saying this, that and the other
everybody wanted city to take platini to court ,but didn't know what for, because nobody understands the ffp rules except the bm experts
the bm experts are now telling us we will be ok because city have got it all under control,a bit like city had ffp under control until we failed
im still no nearer understanding anything about ffp and neither is the wife, cos she isn't interested in football
the ffp thread keeps growing and growing, people don't know what they are talking about so ask stupid questions(see my posts)
people get abused for asking stupid question
and it goes on and on and on and on
its a great thread to be fair, not sure ive told you everything but hey ho,and I hope ive helped

oh and some people want to make placards and wave them at anybody that looks remotely European and try and startle them into changing their minds on ffp
and wenger wants city booting out of the champs league, not to mention some bluemooners who reckon we should boycott the champs league,im a bit thick but wanting to boycott £50m to spite platini fucking hell, take that platini shove you £50m up your arse ,ah bon bon monsieur city

UEFA won't think twice about banning fans from the CL along with their clubs. Permabans probably - I understand some of the moderators on here are so juiced up by Platini & Co they've applied for jobs there.

This is the danger due to potential effects on brand, sponsors etc and we should look into this first. However it is possible that it may be encouraged if they see it as an alternative and removed action. If we are given the club's green light I would passionately support any move to reverse the injustice and fat cat bullying at the top end of the football business.

You'll just get fans banned from future UEFA matches for "political protests" etc., the best way is to quietly support Dupont, making a fuss just means UEFA will take it out on the club, and the club has to present itself as being on side.
