Given the unique nature of the new City Football Group structure – which incorporates MCFC, New York City, Melbourne Heart and a number of other companies, the Club has agreed to certain non-material terms in order to make FFP reporting as easy as possible for UEFA to discern.

What are the non-material terms? if CFG becomes the most profitable part, with global deals like Nissan ext. can we include in our earnings?
I take it to mean that we won't include sales of IP in our FFP calculation in future but that it doesn't matter to us as we'll pass without it.

Was thinking more along the lines of global sponsorship deals that are linked to CFG and not MCFC. can we include these earnings

Can't wait for FFP to go tits up and see UEFA in deep sh*t ...

Is this not illegal?

Surely it's discriminating against foorball supporters, i mean the actually drinking in seats, if a rugby fan or concert goer is allowed to but the football fan isn't could this be classed as discrimination?

Probably a stupid question but always wondered.

They said non-material so it wouldn't affect a transaction where cash is paid from an outside entity like a sponsorship.

CFG is not the reporting entity for FFP purposes so I'd say no. But they'd just distribute the revenues around the subsidiaries.

You mean like the four wasters we got last summer
surely you mean the summer before

sarcasm
noun /ˈsɑː.kæz.əm/ US /ˈsɑːr-/
› the use of remarks that clearly mean the opposite of what they say, made in order to hurt someone's feelings or to criticize something in a humorous way:
"You have been working hard," he said with heavy sarcasm, as he looked at the empty page.
→ Compare irony
(Definition of sarcasm noun from the Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary & Thesaurus © Cambridge University Press)

It's a rare privilege to have the subtleties of English lexicography explained by someone with such mastery of idiomatic usage on a football forum .

At a guess it needs someone that is actually affected by our punishment. Club could but doesnt want to, fans could, sponsors could.

You've probably asked this but can you establish what the litigation risk would be in terms of adverse costs should a fan/fans fail in a bid for an injunction. I'm wondering whether a rich benefactor might have indemnified anyone stirring this particular hornets' nest !

Thanks for that, I was struggling there for a minute.
You're a funny guy, BTP.
That's a real compliment coming from you, GDM.
Unless he was being sarcastic...

See Chippy_Boys earlier post for an explanation ;)

Re: City & FFP (continued)

I've been on holiday for a week, without internet access. Can someone just confirm for me how our sanctions compare to those issued to PSG. Are ours better or worse and did they give any details of how we failed compared to PSG, or their reasons for how/why the punishments were calculated.
Apologies if it's going over old ground.
