The only way Sterling stays at Liverpool after all this shit is if Rodgers locks him in his cellar.

That wouldnt shock me as were talking about Liverpool the greatest football club ever they will do it to show how they wont take shit from there players. I expect a Saurez and think this deal wont happen this season and maybe next season in all honesty.

We made a very good offer for a player that is good but not the finished article, let's Liverpool experience what means to have a contract rebel in your team
 
Liverpool should not gamble now. If its true that Raheem doesn`t want to join they should sell him immediately. Can you imagine how this situation would burden the whole team chemistry, their pre season and so possible the outcome of the entire season? Accept our second offer!
 
Just trying to make him look a bastard because he's joining us,if he were going anywhere else it would be pretty hush hush,with a deal already done,it's a snideyside v manc thing now

This is Liverpool remember though, they can never accept, never come to terms, never let go. This is why as a football club they are no longer a force and intrinsically rotten, they will never compete at the top level again. The Eva/Suarez situation is a prime example. They will drag this through the press for as long as they can not seeing how much damage it will do them. And we will come out on top.
 
I can see them trying to force him on tour with them to prove a point. They really are pathetic and should just accept the money and accept their best player wants nothing to do with their joke of a club.
 
Maybe the city bosses are a little miffed at them turning the head of James Milner when he had a year left to run on his contract. The club wanted Jimmy to stay but with a reported 10m signing on fee on offer from Liverpool I guess it was hard to turn down. They are just reaping what they have sown regarding Raheem now IMO
 
I would quite like him to stay there for a season.

Then leave for £1.6m next year after buying out his contract
 
I think Sterling's in the wrong for refusing to go.
As long as he's paid by them, he should carry on as normal until the moment he leaves. It's what I'd expect of any City player. It's just professionalism and should be expected of any player.

There's been a few in this thread. As long as we get him, which we will, I'm really not arsed though as those who are slagging him off will be singing his name loud and proud when he's ripping full backs new arseholes on a regular basis for us.
