Wow, these threads are starting to disappear quickly, hopefully this and the Pogba thread are gone soon ;)
Not to mention bringing David Villa in on loan in January to give us another option! ;)Sergio, Bony and Iheanacho is more than enough, plus Sterling can play there if needed or even Silva as a false 9.
I like the Bayern model of two number 9's and a shed load of midfielders.
No top team in Europe bar City have had three or four number 9's in recent years, it isn't needed unless 4-4-2 is ever present.
I think we can start to believe that Txiki is having a good window!Come on txiki!

Soon be the start of season so more than enough to keep us goingNooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, there would be fuck all to talk about in transfer forum, it would be normal again the window has just opened!!!!!!!!
HG quota done with Raheem replacing Milner and Delph replacing Frank, coincidentally taking their previous shirt numbers respectively.
Dzeko and Jovetic out and KDB and Pogba in hopefully next.
Transfers dome for this season unless we can find replacements for Kolarov and Sagna.
Pogba is the key signing, he elevates us to another level.
This.
If we sell Dzeko and Jovetic and replace them with KDB and Pogba I think we are CL contenders.
And Lampard and Pirlo. Not to mention bringing David Villa in on loan in January to give us another option! ;)
Imagine the media...
Nah..even with KDB and Pogba I still don't think we have enough to win the CL..but definitely quarter or semi finalists
Don't agree at all. Not saying we will win it...too much of a crapshoot but I would say we have as good a chance as anyone else.Nah..even with KDB and Pogba I still don't think we have enough to win the CL..but definitely quarter or semi finalists

Couldn't agree more. Denayer replacing Boyata is also an upgrade, and I take it Lopes will start off in the squad?
Of course we could have a surprise departure like Nasri or (god forbid) Fernandinho, so you never know.
Can't decide if the 3 strikers are enough, considering Iheanacho is unproven and more a 2nd striker anyway apparently... although if its a choice between having this exciting young talent in the squad or signing another stop gap striker, I'd rather the first option.
The trend among elite European clubs is definitely fewer strikers and more attacking midfield options, which Silva, Nasri, Sterling, Navas, KDB, Lopes would definitely provide. With Yaya, Fernandinho, hopefully Pogba in behind them too... just mouthwatering!!!
Think Dzeko 10 out KDB 10 in next
Pogba for Jovetic
Fabiano for Sagna
Hopefully
ONTHERUNWITHTHAKSIN....Now that would be just perfect mate!;)
I've never been fully up to date on the HG rules but by my reckoning in the homegrown options thread we didn't need Sterling or Delph to fill any quota.HG quota done with Raheem replacing Milner and Delph replacing Frank, coincidentally taking their previous shirt numbers respectively.
