HG quota done with Raheem replacing Milner and Delph replacing Frank, coincidentally taking their previous shirt numbers respectively.

Dzeko and Jovetic out and KDB and Pogba in hopefully next.

Transfers dome for this season unless we can find replacements for Kolarov and Sagna.

well we are heavily linked with fabinho to replace sagna(seems like galata may be after him or even included in a deal for fabinho) and there are some rumours about alex sandro too....add these 2/at least 1 to pogba kdb and we will have the perfect summer

I would't have us down as one of the favourites but I do think once your in the semi finals it's a lottery if you ask me.

Our squad with the addition of KDB and Pogba will definitely compete better against Barca and Bayern etc..

Couldn't agree more. Denayer replacing Boyata is also an upgrade, and I take it Lopes will start off in the squad?

Of course we could have a surprise departure like Nasri or (god forbid) Fernandinho, so you never know.

Can't decide if the 3 strikers are enough, considering Iheanacho is unproven and more a 2nd striker anyway apparently... although if its a choice between having this exciting young talent in the squad or signing another stop gap striker, I'd rather the first option.

The trend among elite European clubs is definitely fewer strikers and more attacking midfield options, which Silva, Nasri, Sterling, Navas, KDB, Lopes would definitely provide. With Yaya, Fernandinho, hopefully Pogba in behind them too... just mouthwatering!!!

I prefer to have a bunch of midfielders over 4 strikers, like Bayern do.

When we went to a false 9 last season we won every game and looked formidable so I am happy to go that way if indeed Sergio and Bony get injured.

Lopes should be included and like you said, Denayer is an improvement in Boyata.

In fact, I actually think our CB partnership is wide open to selection ands Denayer has every chance of being first choice if he performs.

I do think possibly one of Navas or Fernandinho could leave.

I've never been fully up to date on the HG rules but by my reckoning in the homegrown options thread we didn't need Sterling or Delph to fill any quota.

In fact, Sterling isn't classed as homegrown yet. He'll just be one of the unlimited U21 players we can name.
