Media bias against City

Some good news on Sky. Turns out we've won the Champion's League. We've now paid the full £49 million for Sterling.

The transfers in and out have us paying £49 million for Sterling and £12 million for Roberts. Never before have they done this and for no other teams that can see.

We've been sold short! How come they're not quoting transfer fee inclusive of salary???

First went there in '86, mate. Never once paid to get in either :-)
The roses were shit. I preferred the FTH and the pistols. Never mind, though. My brain tumor keeps me happy. Don't forget to be nice! I always think that nice is easy, easy is nice. Thanks for being nice!

The irony of the Hoddle piece is that he is criticising Sterling for moving to City too soon and says he should have stayed at Liverpool. Hoddle was a very talented footballer who totally underachieved in his career. The main reasons for this were that he made the wrong career choice to stay at Spurs too long and he was lazy on the field.

I just read what Hoddle had to say about Luke Shaw leaving Southampton for United last year. I won't post the link as it was on talkshite.

Something along the lines of it only being a matter of time before one of the top four clubs bought him and tipping him for great things. No mention of the huge fee for an 18 year old or of the move being too early in his career.

Well fuck it. Half of you are sad as fuck and look for things that aren't there. The other half are thinking the opposite. End of the day, you spare a lot of time of your life looking for negatives...and as someone who has been through a lot of stuff recently, it aint worth it. Let them eat cake. You've got no idea how much the good stuff is worth.

The media have been doing the negative shit all summer even with the pre season games on MP job is on the line the pressure is already on him. Its all bullshit. I think the media as always focus on shit rather than report on what they see. I think the lack of any attention on Nacho and his form is strange. The lad has played well and has been the highlight of our pre season for me. Then add in Jason who has looked ok so far and yet none of the papers mention this but focus on. City lose 4-2 in a pre season friendly who gives a fuck the season starts on Monday for us judge us at the end of the year until then the media can fuck off.

It wouldn't matter for instance if say nacho had scored a hat trick and denayer had a stormer of a game as well and we had won say 7.0,the media will only be reporting on anything negative on us,and try and shit stir things up,it's to appease the majority of their readership/viewers who will be mostly rags and scousers, and to give them hope that we are in disarray and will struggle to never mind be battling for the title but to miss out on top 4.Its all they have going for them as each game we win this season on all fronts will see their hopes end in tears, fcuk them all...

Who cares? It is what happens on the pitch from Aug 10th, all the rest is just rhetoric and bullshit.

Exactly.

Currently it is the silly season where selling media generally must be skewed alarmingly towards the consumer base in order to make their sales pay the wages. The season starts then results mean more than anything so opinion means less.

Let them make hay while the sun shines because hopefully City will counteract any adverse opinion with results that confound their articles.

If you honestly believe that Glenn Hoddle isn't being given direction from the paper/media group paying him as to what they'd like him to write about then you're the one beyond help.

Oh yeah, and when someone's opinion is put into print, that kinda makes it a story. Not that I, or anyone else for that matter, knows what the fuck you're on about when you say "opinion and story ain't the same". Even if they weren't, which is sometimes true, so what? What has that got to do with anything that was previously posted?
He has a very appropriate username.

The Gutterpress is one big Burger, and blues are still taking a big bite out of the bait.

You are still visiting their webshites, still listening to talkshite, still subscribing to SlySports...

I've fucked them cunts off years ago and don't engage with their nonsense.

Who gives a fuck what their opinions are?
YOU do...

City as a club welcome these cunts to the stadium with lavish meals, hospitality leather seats, we literally give them everything we the loyal fans don't get.
We have to pay for that shit.

Fuck them, and if you're still affected get these cunts pictures and let's find out where they live.

Top Rant :)

Whilst perusing a few sites on the premiership sides new kits , every club gets praised or slated on their designs ie (terrible/great design ect) we get this

Manchester City home
Here's how it goes for Man City. One year - win the league. The next - be boring and disappointing in a way that defies the billions of pounds spent year after year on incredible footballers, and sends rich men home crying and for a cuddle with their faithful and understanding oil reserves. The league-winning years have both come when City have had a white trim on their sky blue, rather than the marginally classier but SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN TO BE LESS EFFECTIVE darker blue.

Don't forget to add that first game on a Monday is also when we went on to twice be league winners. :)

A lot of people use these forums to get away from the worries in life to just come and give there opinion on a game they love and have a bit of banter, might not be the place for you at this moment in time mate
