Lopes looks to get forward at every opportunity. He's a risk taker who might have poorer possession stats than the other two, but that will be down to the safety first approach of the others.
Compared to Nasri who slows the game right down and constantly looks to score the perfect goal. And Navas who would rather turn back and pass to the full back when in a promising position than beat a man or put a first time cross in.
Lopes has only had one full but inconsistent season as a professional. The likes of Nasri and Navas have more games under their belts and have achieved more in their careers and are probably "in tune" in what Pellegrini wants from his attacking players. If Lopes is impatient and not taking on board what the current manager wants and is refusing to sign a new deal, then he isn't the right type of player imo.
IMO Lopes needs at least 2 more seasons on loan before getting into the first team.
Give him a shot, I think given the chance he would be better than navas.
what's the harm in playing young talent while our senior players get their shit together.
How is he supposed to get those if he doesn't play? It's a completely false arguament. We may as well start Pele if that's the way of judging people. Navas and Nasri have both been here, playing inconsistent football for two years under Pellegrini (with Nasri having 2 inconsistent years under Mancini before that), I don't see anything to say we shouldn't give Lopes a chance to prove he can do better than that.Don't get me wrong I am for giving younger players a chance but Is Lopes 482 apperances, 41 goals and 101 assists better than Navas?

He has offered more in half the playing time so far in pre season, but I think from what is being said its not a Navas or lopes scenario but more Nasri could be used as a makeweight in a Pogba deal and lopes fill the hole left behind by Nasri.
And that could be down to not completely taking on board what Pellegrini is expecting. He maybe a lot of things but he does know his attacking players.

If Rony had a problem taking on board what pellegrini wanted then he would of already known this 2 years ago before his loan, especially when he played him in a cup semi final and he got man of the match!
Sell Nasri to help fund Pogba. Play Lopes in Nasri's place.
Nasri last season played 29 games in total scoring 3 goals and was basicly behind Silva, Navas and Milner, Rony played 27 games and scored 3 goals and if he replaced Nasri this season would be 4 choice I don't see why he couldn't replace what Nasri has offered us!
And Nasri's season had been hampered by injuries and who had played a part in our last title winning season.
Pellegrini gave the likes of Isco, Cazorla chances.
The same could be said for Rony he was hit by injuries for 2-3 months due to being rushed back too quickly because he was instrumental to the Lille team and the Lille fans were comparing him to Eden Hazard.
