Yeah, and run it into the ground you thick twat. Then when Ramsey visits to rescue it and gives you a firm bollocking for being a thick twat the cameras will follow you trying to escape through the toilet window because that's what you do when you're in the wrong and under pressure isn't it you thick twat?

So the simplistic way is the balance sheet WON'T show the fact United paid FIFA £3.2m, bringing the yearly loss to nearly £7m? Hope it's picked up on the FFP check. ;-)

What none of us know is how they accounted for that £3.2m so unless we do, everyone is arguing for nothing. There's a capital element to any transfer and a revenue element. If club A pay club B £50m for a player that's a capital, balance sheet item and that's what gets amortised. It might also pay agents fees but class those as an overhead or revenue item, which goes into the P&L account. As does his wages.

They could compensate the player or selling club for some element of bonus paid or given up but they could add that to the capital or treat it as an overhead. If the former then it should form part of the profit/loss on sale. If the latter then it's incorrect to add it in to that calculation.
