I think we will only have the three. We won't be playing 442 this season so we don't need four, and sterling is more than capable of playing striker.

Sterling can play striker in emergency... I think 2 recognised strikers + 1 who can play in emergency + 1 youth player is IMO enough.

I just don't think we'll buy a striker, despite Jovetic and Dzeko out. Especially as it looks like we play only with 1 striker at once, instead of 2.

I agree with the wider point you are making about energy etc - entirely agree about that.

To group Zucullini in the same bracket as Delph and Milner, is doing those 2 players a disservice. We have seen nothing to suggest that he could do that unfortunately.

That's fair enough, I'm judging on pre-season only and he does seem to get stuck in and give us a bit of bite in the middle but it's a big statement. I stand by the general point.
