after the rumours yesterday that De Bruyne was going to have 14.....does this mean there might be an issue in talks or just a simple case of Bony wanting the No14 shirt?

That's my line of thinking too. Not second guessing the info that was given yesterday though, as I'm sure it's correct! But it does go against what the OS says.

Maybe the club told Bony he'd have to sign every Bony 14 shirt sold and he couldn't be arsed.

Do players in players in prem pay other players for jersey numbers? Happens all the time in American football. Can fetch up to $25K if a player has a real attachment to a number. Not saying KdB has an attachment to 14 but generally curious.

The same guy that said De Bruyne will wear no.14 and Bony will have 9 said afterward that bony had changed his mind and decided to keep his no.14 shirt.

I have this weird feeling that we'll have a preferred set-up (remember the stubborn 4-4-2?) which I hope is 4-2-3-1


(which is more solid with our personnel IMO) but I think will be 4-3-3.

Who knows? I think we'll all agree that whatever the preferred line-up, it looks better with De Bruyne as an option in it that not.

It concerns me that the Dzeko deal has to go through first. Is this actually the case or are you people spiff-balling as usual.

Think it's just a case of why the teams haven't officially announced the deal even after the passed medical and all the Roma celebrations.
