De Bruyne?

Scroll through back all the way to his tweets since 2013.... He's been spot on for nearly everything.

That's entirely possible. But you can't deny the stuff he has gotten right. Until given a reason to do so, I think people should hold back the bashing and labelling him a KFA.

Man City transfer news: Kevin De Bruyne likely to arrive for £50m
As hopes of signing Paul Pogba fade, Manchester City turn their attention to Wolfsburg and Belgium midfielder Kevin De Bruyne

Manchester City are in pole position to sign Wolfsburg midfielder Kevin De Bruyne following the German club’s failure to tie the Belgian to a new long-term contract.

Having abandoned their pursuit of Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba due to the France international’s wage demands and the £70m price-tag issued by the Italian champions, City are determined to overcome Paris Saint Germain and win the race for De Bruyne.

And the former Chelsea youngster has now given his representatives the go ahead to negotiate a move to the Etihad Stadium after rejecting Wolfsburg’s attempts to extend his contract, which currently runs until 2019, with the Bundesliga outfit.

City are understood to be prepared to offer De Bruyne a five-year deal worth a basic £120,000-a-week, with director of football Txiki Begiristain ready to hold talks with Wolfsburg in an effort to negotiate a transfer which could see City pay in excess of £50m for a player sold by Chelsea for £18m in January 2013.

With Wolfsburg backed financially by car manufacturer Volkswagen, the German club have made it clear that that have no need or desire to sell De Bruyne.

But with the player now keen to return to the Premier League, Wolfsburg will hold out for a fee of at least £50m in order to make a huge profit on the player.

Meanwhile, teenaged forward Kelechi Iheanacho believes he can retain a place in the first-team squad after impressing on City’s tour of Australia.

“I’ve been training hard with the squad during pre-season and I hope this is the time for me to break into the first team,” Iheanacho said.

“The manager has promised me nothing. He’s just told me to keep working hard every day.

“So as yet I don’t know what my chance is, but I pray that it will come soon. I would like to play against Real Madrid on Friday now.”

You can claim it on the end of my cock.

Actually, I rather like the thought that there are probably one or two people now frantically searching on my name and ''Nasri captain" right now.

Good luck everyone ;-)

They might get a hit if they replace your name with Tolmies.

If he isn't sold, I can't see him getting many games at all. But his ability to stop the momentum of a move by taking too many touches and looking backwards will be even more frustrating if you have the likes of sterling and de bruyne breaking forward and getting picked up or going offside whilst Nasri slowly turns 180 degrees and sticks his arse out and looks up to see where his own full back is.

These players give us more attacking Pace and directness when teams are back peddling. Nasri does the exact opposite.

But then blatantly ignore the run of Kolarov when he's in space.

However,I don't mind him ignoring Clichy as he can't cross worth a fuck.

How could we have abandoned a pursuit of Pogba when no one in the media actually knows for certain we are after him....City have never confirmed he is a transfer target and therefore have never confirmed we have abandoned the pursuit. Still, looking good for KDB arrival and our attacking options are starting to look fantastic and enough to rival anyone in Europe

It's just a negative slant from one of the usual suspects. When we sign Pogba he'll write about how we can't sign Messi. So predictable.

Okay, but the one and only time he says an exact date, he was right. He put his balls on the line and he was right.

The chances of that happening on accident are incredibly slim.
