I don't know, but it is striking that the two events seem linked. I was hoping that someone could confirm but no one has. If it is an issue, am sure that it is one that will be resolved shortly

When it looked like Dzeko was going to Roma he never started, he just came on the odd game for 10-15 mins. You don't risk 45+ million if it's 95% done.

It can still be 95% done regardless of him starting today. Wherever it happens in the next 48 hours isn't important as long as it's done before the window closes.
The De Gea situation is nothing like this. His manager doesn't think he's in the right frame of mind to play whereas the Wolfsberg management obviously feel different in regards to their man.
That'll be because we've not been in the press all summer tapping him up unlike what's been allowed to develop across town.
