They may be papering over the cracks, but they don't care so long as they win.
As for laughing at their poor winning performances think back to our occasional undeserved victory and check out the "stop fucking whingeing we won" comments in the post-match forum.
You know they're shite, I know they're shite and their two or three observant fans know they're shite, but the result is all that matters for some.

Its more the mentality of other teams/players, with the scum always been bigged up and what they've done in there past effects them!

Didn't fancy Spurs to get anything there yesterday with their preparation for the game by staying in Germany midweek. If you look at that line up of United yesterday no team will be scared to go to old trafford now, the back 4 looks like anyone who can run at them with pace will get a lot of joy.

They will be looking forward to the return of the belgium bog brush as they could not carve out a single clear cut chance. All that money on creative midfielders and they still won't have enough craft and personel up front to put the ball in the back of the net.

Yes I agree mate, but the fuckers still manage to get a win regardless! Fuckin hate them with a passion, fuckin own goal gives them a win!!!

Unbelievably the luck that team gets we work hard for our wins and if team gets a chance they usually score!
 
When we won the league via Aguero, imo we were at least 15 points better than the rags in performance, but the number of teams who shat out against them (along with terrible reffing) allowed them to almost nick it. Last season they should have finished about 10th but were above us for a short while, purely down to teams not putting them away.

If teams actually played against the team on the pitch rather than the ghost of past glories, they'd be nowhere, but teams cannot be trusted to do it.

It is strange that it happens all the time.

Moss was poor yesterday, seemed like free kicks were given only if the benefitted the rags and Spurs were perhaps a bit unlucky with offsides but they yet again got 3 points when they were only worth one.

The amount of times we get a result we don't deserve in a season can be counted on one hand, they'll need both hands and feet.
 
They can have all the stuffy dodgy results they like, does anyone think that squad has the potential to score 90-100 goals to carry them to the title? No chance, move along gents nothing to worry about here but plenty to laugh at over till May.

I bet goal keeping training will be funny Monday morning. 2 pissed off spaniards stood there watching an argie flap around during shooting practice.
 
I hope the stuffy wins continue until the end of the winter window. Then after that, the swine will be injured, depay will have spat his dummy as all Dutch players do and there'll be a general meltdown of morale and mistrust of the turtle.

So very true, it always reminds of a line in a film, think it was with Leo DeCaprio, where the character asks his dad why are the Yankees so much better than other teams and his dad says 'they're no better but other teams just see the striped jerseys and give in without even trying' (or words to that effect.)

They are becoming more and more the Unfinished Sympathy football club with some kind of remembrance event occuring every other week.

The sad thing about this is the Rags use this as a way to extort their PR and gain more attention.

Wouldn't surprise me if those bastards actually sold Black Arm Bands in their club store.

That phase is right when it comes to Utd, Brazil etc. Teams are beaten before they take the pitch

I think that used to be the case, particularly under the piss can. Plus there always seemed to be a team lubed up and ready for a shafting (I'm thinking Elephant Man, Fat Sam, Sunderland etc). But now that Taggart's reign of terror is over I think more and more teams will go there and try and give an account of themselves. Also, we might actually start to see referees/linesmen standing up their bully boy tactics. If so, with the new diving rule in Shrek, Young etc will be missing most of the season through suspensions.

The number of dodgy decisions united got in the late winter/early spring of 2012 was truly disgraceful.

Let the Rags have a steady start and wait for the window to close, then sit back and watch it all unravel. Still think they'll get 4th tho cos of the dross in the PL.
 
Prem could be a very open league this year. They could finish anywhere. I'd laugh if they were beaten to a top 4 spot by a Swansea or West Ham type team. It could happen !
