My take on all this is up to now its been communicating with KDB's camp on a potential package.

This has been agreed and now we appear to have submitted a formal bid to Wolfsburg which isn't far off their valuation.

Shit just got real for KDB and its decision time from him ... hence the hesitation as the balls firmly in his court and neither us nor Wolfsburg can call it I reckon.

Its now down to the lad pure and simple. Does he want to come or not?

Feels this way to me also. Thing is it is a viscous circle that unless we buy 'A listers', something we haven't done since Aguero,Toure etc... Then we ain't going to win a champions league until we produce world class through our own academy, but in the interim period we can only look for domestic honours.

I would hope he had agreed to join us many weeks ago, would be amazed if we hadn't and if so Tixi aint doing his job.
 
Reeaaaalllllly hope we get this guy. He'll add so much to our team and has a little bit of everything - Milner's engine, Silva's vision and can score from anywhere!

Would become a fan favourite in no time.
 
For what it is worth Sky Bet have suspended betting on KDB going to City, but you can get 5/2 on him staying @ Wolfsburg. Probably means they do not know what is going on but that they don't want to accept any more bets on him going to City, either due to money recently going on or maybe there sources do know something. I think this one is on
 
It is getting to the stage where, if we try to buy a player, everyone runs around screaming.

Its ironic. We are referenced by every agent going when they want to sell their player to get the price up; but when we are actually interested the crucifixes come out.

One day.........I hope we have long memories.
