West Brom Vs City Post Match Thread

-There isnt a single good word left to describe Silva, majestic as always. I almost havent seen player in PL dominating game like him today or generally, amazing.
-Kompanys passion/celebration was great, also good game. Mangala too.
-Kolarov I thought had excellent game and I think Clichy will have hard time getting in front of him in team in near future.
-Shame Sterling didnt score, but he gets in those positions like no one and gives us other dimensions.
-Yaya was sharp in preseason and Yaya was great today. Hopefully he was just scratching balls in the end

-Only thing I am a bit disappointed was that no youngster got run today

No doubt the papers will be full of 'money' and 'stars' but I actually think that workrate and team play won the day. Against a Pulis team, that really means something too.

All round great display. Dictated play through Yaya and Silva: Silva was just perfect. Full backs and CBs played well. Ferna did well picking up the defensive slack. Sterling offered a helluva lot and goals will come. Navas was superb.

Excellent performance overall. Totally dominated the game, loads of possession, created chances and scored goals. Defensively we had nothing to do in the first half, but in the second we dealt very well with a series of corners and looked pretty solid. Toure was excellent, the full backs really got involved in the game, both forwards and backwards. David Silva was absolutely sublime, his touch, his passing, his ability to retain possession, he really is an exceptional footballer.
