De Bruyne?

Well, let's just remember Wolfsburg have not rejected our £47m bid yet. If that is making them think this long, what will a few more million on top do?

How do we know this? They haven't even acknowledged an official bid in order to reject.

Ain't it enough when the manager says in the microphones of Sky yesterday that de Bruyne will stay this season?

The most reliable newspaper in Belgium, HLN, which is close to 100% on Belgian player transfers reported it and said yesterday Wolfsburg are playing hardball.

And De Bruyne's agent said today:

“At this stage we have not received a call to say that any bid has been accepted and until we do Kevin will stay where he is.”

Which doesn't say we have bid but the implication is there.

Also, Kicker, which has been adamant he'd only join Bayern, last night admitted for the first time that talks had begun at the Emirates Cup and are continuing. And said outright Wolfsburg could sell him.

Our major target transfer dealings are far from Shambolic

Don't forget, our targets are their current clubs best players. BEST players. Its not easy for a club to sell their best players.

Imagine if someone came in for Aguero and we just said yeah, give us your money bye bye, how peed off the fans would be. They have a certain amount of saving face to do.

Were not trying to bring in other clubs knackered old has beens like the B45t4rd Pigscaffolder, were recruiting the next wave of Ballon D'or contenders here

Be patient, sit back, and enjoy watching the other clubs faces turn green with envy when we have our 15/16 Squad on 2nd Sept

CMON CITY!!!!!

That does sound quite hopeful.

Every time city are linked to a German based player all the Bayern fans come on here telling us how they won't come seems to be a trend this...

Why? He has a contract until 2019. But I am pretty sure the club will add onto it to keep him satisfied.

At City he is one of many - at Wolfsburg the big fish in the pond. The mighty EPL does not run away. For his own development it should be better to stay.

Are the chances for trophies really bigger with City than with Wolfsburg? Wolfsburg won more trophies last season than City did...

Maybe you should listen to the officials of Wolfsburg and what they are saying, too...
The last I have heared is that Kevin will play this season in Wolfsburg and that they do not sell.

£50m are nothing on a market that has no value in it...

I do not think that Wolfsburg is scared of Bayern selling them stars away - they are a lot more rational than Dortmund is. Some might look into the Bayern squad and where their players came from... There ain't a lot players from German clubs. And I do not think that Dortmund would be better off if Lewandowski would have gone to Real or the EPL...

He's nailed on a City player.

And City have won more leagues in the last 5 years than Wolfsburg have in the entire history of their club.

And I fucking hate you bunch of Munich wankers and have no problem personally quoting you when he signs so the whole forum can laugh at your delusions

It sounds like Wolfsburg and De Bruyne's representatives have an agreement that De Bruyne won't hand in a transfer request or rock the boat but if a certain amount is bid, they will accept and allow him to go. Txiki is most likely trying to haggle the price down as much as possible and adding bonuses like with the Sterling deal.

In fact it could be very much like the Sterling deal going back with slight improved bids yet on a much more discreet level.
