De Bruyne?

Will our insistence on securing De Bruyne's signature jeopardise any hopes we have of landing other targets?

wolfsburg have obviously seen what we are willing to pay for sterling and adjusted the price to the amount they believe the boy is worth. its a bit naughty, but thats the simple economics of things.
if you put together and compare the stats for sterling and KDB without ever hearing of the 2 players before, 99% of people would say KDB is the most valuable player.

Not sure about that. The stats would show KDB as being in England at a similar age to what Sterling is now and only starting 2 games in two years or so. Granted he was loaned out during that time. Also they would show Sterling as a golden boy winner.

Sky Germany :

PSG and Manchester City have both bid 70Million Euro for De Bruyne. Wolfsburg will decide his fate next week

PSG link must be bollocks. They have no room or need for him and spunked their money on Di Maria.

Probably just the Germans trying to scare us like how Bayern, Barca and Real we're all in for him 2 days ago...

we arent trying to buy KDB two years ago though. the current stats for the two players will show that they are of the same value at least, and in my opinion KDB is worth more.

I am going to sound arrogant, naïve or nutty here but you can rule out PSG with them signing Di Maria.

First reports were they wanted 40m£-45m£, then 50m£, now 57m£?!
surely that's not how negotiating a deal works? If someone tells you they will only sell at a given price and the moment you are willing to pay the price they say oh well now I want more, thats ridiculous

Serious question is he actually worth what Wolfsburg are demanding? That is a damn serious amount of cash to be throwing at a club for a player valued that highly and yet I've only ever seen him play a few times. The deal would put him almost up there with the likes of Neymar, Ronaldo, Bale with the selling value almost and dare I say it Di Maria.

There is nothing on Sky Germany's Twitter or site about PSG - is this on their TV channel?

It's still be less than James Rodriguez and I don't think there is much between them at all

Also less than Di Maria -> United.

Similar to both Sterling and Pogba in that they are young enough to develop further.
