40m + mangala on loan says AS.

Fucking unbelievable. Mangala's the better player. I'd rather Denayer than otamendi too.

If this happens Txiki can do one. Absolute hindrance.

Bad move if true, Otamendi will need time to bed in just like Mangala has. Can't see it being true though, why start Mangala over MDM if Pellers doesn't rate him??

looks like this could be happening?....lots of sources saying the same thing

Most reliable source there is, @Generaldepie_, says Nico Otamendi will join Manchester City for €40m plus Mangala on loan. Official soon.

Sounds like this is a done deal now. The way Joe Hart spoke to Mangala before the game kicked off I feel it's all done now. Won't be happy to lose Mangala on loan but if it's only a year on loan he should come back better for the experience.

Mangala is a rock, he wins every header, have pace and strength.

His decision making is not perfect but that will improve by playing every week.

Is Mangala going out on loan !!?? Why him? He seems to have adjusted to the PL now. Otamendi will need time for sure. I hope we are not selling Mangala...

Doesn't make sense. Why the fuck we would send Mangala on loan? Otamendi will need bedding time also. Strange this imo.

Moving Mangala now doesn't make sense. Partnered well with MDM at the end of last season and has looked very good so far this season. Why would you pay so much for a player just a season ago and then loan him the next?

Why would we entertain loaning Mangala? He looked great today and will continue to improve and tighten partnership with Vinnie. Younger than Otamendi and stronger too. Full disclosure: no idea if Otamendi is strong but guarantee not more so than Mangala.

At the end of the season Mangala returns and Martin moves on?

I agree mate..I think thats the only way we could make this deal work best for us.....we get a world class defender for £28mil and get Mangala back next season...win-win. Mangala having a great start to the season and would prefer not to loan him out but Otamendi is world class and would make us better.......
