De Bruyne was asked to repeat a german phrase(he isn't that fluent in German) from SportBild live on stage, the phrase was that he would stay at Wolfsburg (their version of a practical joke). Its being reported that he didn't really know what he was saying and that he was put in an awkward situation. However it has helped call Wolfsburg's bluff, as the owner looks like he wants the money and his agent is furious as it seems he wants De Bruyne to move to City. Good news all round.
