Brennan still thinks Otamendi isn't even in the country.
That's priceless. The MUEN living up to its rep I see.

Why? We are buying a finished article.Wouldn't we rather buy the 21 year old Englishman John Stones for this sort of money?
Otamendi is reportedly going to be valued at 32m and he's 27 years old.
Someone replied to the "LVG for not wanting" with........"if LVG wanted him,he would be here by now"
I'm sure Otamendi is coming fully expecting to start every match

Mangala was told he could find a new club this summer, but his strong performances have sharply elevated his standing. (via @DuncanCastles)
Absolutely bang on this.
What's his passing like?
We only have MD and AK who can pass to any worthwhile standard in the defence so if he can that would enhance us too. Just my opinion

There are two CM positions, two players for each position: Yaya Fernandinho Delph and Demichelis would be a good fit for the four for me.
Kompany Mangala Otamendi and Denayer the four for the two CH positions.
.....and the Romans, Germans, Spanish and BosniansApart from the rags of course.
Yep. To reach the summit of European football (which I believe is Mansour's objective) some day you have to be ruthless in transfer market (ins and out).I'm not all that surprised. He was a liability last year but if he's turned it round in those two games that's a real testament to his attitude. Personally I think Otamendi will take his position before long anyway.
Pretty average, seems the only real weakness to his game.

No mate Kompany was the liability last year, which was affecting a new young player like Mangala !I'm not all that surprised.
