Monchengladbah this year i think is not like last year but Germans are always tought in home matches..

Need to win the group and avoid a big team in the first knockout round. Sevilla will be no easy ride but I think we can do it.
 
Gotta say pretty pleased with the schedule as well. We don't have any of the usual top 5-6 after any of our champions league matches. That's a relief.

Feel confident, Juve lost Pirlo, Tevez and Llorente, City is looking much more solid in the back, hunger is back and this is a new Champions league season. I think this time around we will make it far.
 
I don't mind that group at all.

We should be looking to top that group, Juventus lost arguably their 3 best players (Pirlo, Vidal, Tevez) in the summer. Sevilla are a good team, of course, but we're better. When we're signing players for £49 million and £58 million, we've got to be better than teams like Sevilla.

A group without Bayern, Real Madrid or Barcelona and we should be looking to top it. That's where we are now.
 
Yep it's not the same Juventus as last season, that's for sure. However, they've added Khedira, Mandzukic, Dybala, Alex Sandro and Cuadrado so they'll be just as dangerous.
I think the key with getting through this group are the ties with Sevilla, much like the Napoli ties were crucial for us in 11/12.
 
There's something to moan about for any draw.

You are pretty much guaranteed to get either paired with one of the big three, or have minnows in shitholes in Eastern Europe to journey to, or quality Western European sides to compete against, or some such combination. This is the champions league. It is the European elite and we belong there. Chelsea have got trips to Ukraine and Israel to factor in. I know which I'd sooner have.

Three wins in that group and we qualify, because everyone will take points off the other teams. Beat Juve at home and we go through as group winners.
 
If ever there was a time to feel confident about our squad ventures into the champions League, that time is now!

We are seasoned veterans, battle harden. Bring them on, All of them.
