Bramhall is good one, some decent hils.
Did the Stamford Park run the other week. That is a tough one. Proper cross country running. Not in the park at all. Enjoyed it in a perverse way. Came second in my age group (50-54) in 27:48. First in my age group was about 21 mins!! Winner or second was in the age group 11-14....

I half fancy doing one of these but the nearest is miles away.
Plus I want to just get out of bed and run so if I'm up at 6 (for example) I want to get out straight away rather than waiting a few hours to do a short(ish) run.

Ashamed to say I pulled up at the 1k mark!
Just couldn't be arsed. Was chaffing in the nipple and groin areas. Calfs were hurting and I needed a piss. So turned round and went full a full English.
The marathon can wait.
