If Martial is bright he will do exactly what Wayne Rooney tells him and forge a relationship with his captain as soon as possible - a point that seems to have been lost on fellow new signing Memphis Depay.

Do what Rooney says, listen to what he says, and don't try to be an overnight sensation, there's plenty of time for that. You've had a great start now let Rooney and those boys around you make you a star.

Had he done something that no debutant was ever likely to do - say prod the ball home within seconds of coming on - I know bear with me its a fanciful notion but say that he had he would probably be a one man team of the week !!

Out of interest I assume that a player that did such a thing at Palace on Saturday doesn't get a sniff...............

And I assume Scott Dan is at CB for " Services to Football "
 
hought you may like this facebook banter from a few mins ago, jumped on a thread where he was piss taking yesterday's 'Derby', Mr Utd (not his name etc) is another long distance Rag, even has the Rag logo tat on both his wrists, he promotes Gt Yarmouth & has a keen interest in the History of the town, hence my comments a few years ago along the lines of, 'you should be ashamed of yourself supporting a team from over 200 miles away whilst promoting local history' then came out with well I don't really support Utd anymore more into FC Utd, then proceeded to tell me that he was in the pub when FC Utd was first mooted (I believe him!)




Me - Assuming from the above comments Man Ure won the History Derby yesterday.

I used one similar.
My father in law (rag) had took my son for a Carvery to the local rag infested boozer and when I get there to pick my lad up,he's in his City shirt and they(I know them all)are winding him up,nothing nasty as he was only about 8 at the time.Then as I'm getting a drink I start giving a bit back,my lads laughing his head off.They then start with the empty seats bullshit and I say "you want to practice what you preach boys"...to which I get back "what you on about,we sell out every game"........I throw my car key on the table and say "any one of you lot can prove you been to the swamp more times than my 8 year old boy,you can have my car"...............I still got my car.

I enjoy reading the posts from the two clowns, 'Van Gaal era' and 'Mali Zeus'
Both of them would struggle to find OT on a map but my word, they do give it their best to be 'Top Reds'
They'll never understand why we hate them so much. They'll never understand what it is to have a proper rivalry because they're so invested in the myth that Utd and Liverpool is the biggest and bestest game in the world.
Well whilst they're still getting giddy over what is at best, a Europa league/top four shootout between two clubs who are being run shockingly and playing dire football, we will be pushing on, winning trophies and entertaining the masses.
Our time is coming, it won't be long before we've left them in our wake in everything. Team, facilities, stadium, sponsorships, owners, staff, youth, everything.
And it'll be glorious.
