Can't wait for Fernandinho to be nipping on their toes and Silva jinking in and out, Yaya using his big arse to bosh them away, will be like the English version of Takeshi's Castle.

Quite simply, United did not control the midfield against Swansea – and Schweinsteiger's distribution in that game was pretty poor... awful at times.
Without doubt he was a quality player, but if he was still capable of playing at the very top of his game there is no way Bayern would have let him go. He'll have to be used very sparingly by Turtle, as will Carrick – I personally think both will end up on the treatment table very soon!
The rags may very well have had the better of a few teams in the PL this season, but let's be honest - the teams you've played so far have been very poor... the best team you've played are Swansea... and they couldn't beat Watford at weekend... and Watford looked poor against us!
As others have said, let's see how your ageing midfielders do when Silva, Fernandinho, Yaya, Sterling, Navas etc. are buzzing around them, zipping passes about... Schweinsteiger and Carrick have the turning circle of an oil tanker!

Southampton have been horrible this season, struggling to score or create. I see 3 points there. 3 points against Sunderland. They almost always beat Arsenal, no matter how rubbish they are, a draw perhaps though given form. Everton/CP will be tough matches but still 4 points I imagine. We should obviously beat them, but derby anything can happen & will depend on who's fit etc. I see them getting 10-12 points from the 6 games. Would love you to be right though.

Didn't you get the memo? PR dept. says the rags aren't really relevant to us anymore so we went and found another club within 50miles with whom we have a little acrimonious 'istree but who aren't quite a real threat. This way we can manufacture a new rivalry to peddle, one in which we will usually come out on top, thus extending our myth and damaging our old rivals that we're not really obsessed with.

He was however in the staring XI and spent 90 minutes on the pitch.

Jizzineye, Macheda, Powel, Cleverly, Wellbeck etc etc etc
All "world class" before they slowly realise they aren't and they are shipped off to Sunderland, Cardiff, Villa levels etc
Wasn't even a wondergoal, he had luck with the bobble of the ball that could have gone anywhere and no striker should miss from that range.

Edit: Even forgotten about the other world class one, the one who gives the ball away every 10 seconds and who was taken off at half time
And there is always Bebe who even playing in a cup game v Exeter looked out of his depth

He may be a United player but I can still appreciate a good goal, certainly no wondergoal, or even close to Benteke's, but he took it well - got some luck to get past the inept Skrtel but it was still a composed finish from a young lad (do we think Sterling would have put that away for example? I'd be 50:50).

The hype afterwards is silly, people are too quick to judge one way or the other - I'll make my judgments at the end of the season, I'll be a little surprised if he reaches double figures in the league personally.
