Big, massive, steaming pile of wank. New season, same shit in the Champions League.

Lazy, slow and no fucks given by anyone bar Fernandinho. There should not be such a disparity in our domestic performances to Europe.

You also don't spend £54m on a player and keep him on the bench, especially when those ahead of him played as they did. I thought players like De Bruyne were brought in to really help in Europe. It's all well and good saying "there's 5 more games" there's been fuck all improvement and that's the worst thing; fuck another 5 games of that shite.

We've had pace and width all season and won 5/5. So we decide to play Nasri, who has neither pace nor width. Hmmmmmmmm.

That said, we were unlucky. They had 2 half chances and scored both. We had 4 or 5 and missed all of them.

Nasri just shouldn't be in the team anymore, yes he offers ball retention but he just slows us down so much in possession and just doesn't seem to have a cutting edge anymore.

Bony was proper proper gash, and Yaya just looked like Yaya from last season its ridiculous. Silva obviously wasn't fit, bringing on Aguero at the end just seemed stupid, he hasn't looked at his best all season and it wouldn't surprised me if him coming on tonight just aggravates his leg before this weekends game.

We didn't deserve to win and didn't play well, but at the end of the day we had plenty of chances to score.

Nasri is a player how would give you 8-10 decent games per season and that's about. Not good enough for our level. Pass to him and he is a master of slowing the atack down

Dinho was superb. Need to up our game for the west ham game. Oh well. Same season same shit in the CL.

£49m for a player who cant kick a ball properly. Christ almighty. He's alright in the league but at this level he's shown up badly. Still young so hopefully he improves it but not sure if its something that can be improved, it's his body!

Same shit different year.

How are so exciting in the league and yet so fucking timid, slow and boring in europe? Being without BT and the fact we look to be doing the exact same as the previous years I think I'll just stick to domestic football, that ain't the team i watch every week out there.

Buffon didn't help us. Great game by this goalkeeper. I think that today's game was more bad luck from us and almost total effiency by Juventus.

Stop moaning! It's just a false start. Juventus did everything they could to break our game. I have never seen the finalists of the CL playing catenaccio in the first day of the tournament. What a disgrace!
Come on City!

It was an entertaining game and I didn't think we played that badly. We missed a few chances and Buffon's still got it. I think we were the better team but just ran out of steam and became sloppy towards the end. Disappointed obviously, but there's plenty of games to play yet.

So peed off with tonight. The start of the season has shown us a bright, attack at pace side. We play the biggest game of the season so far and go back to the tried and failed pairing of Nasri and Silva. After we took the lead any manager worth his salt would surely of tried to protect it by replacing Nasri or Silva with Navas or Fernando. The back four were very good again and Fernandinho excellent.

Alright. Sterling had a poor game. But just maybe, like Silva, he wasn't 100%.
I think we didn't get anything from that because we didn't deserve it.
SO bloody laboured and predictable.

Same old story "time to learn from the mistakes" line spewed out for 4 years now still showing zero signs of actually learning anything. Terrible display never looked comfortable, commentators and fans alike all see the glaring mistakes in the build up and slow passing across midfield for 90 minutes getting city nowhere but been the same story time and time again. Bony might have lacked support but he did nothing to try and make things happen for himself and always looked second best in every challenge, best thing he did all night was not touch the ball in the build up to sterlings miss.

absolutely pathetic, from first to last minute. I've seen more intensity and speed at schoolyard football.

They're all mental pussies when it comes to Champions League and should be fined for that.
