Assuming that one of Barca or Real wins La Liga, Bayern win the Bundesliga, PSG win La Ligue and one of us, Arsenal or Chelsea wins the PL. That means one of Barca or Real will be in Pot 2 along with two English clubs, plus probably Atletico Madrid, Dortmund & Valencia and one of Benfica or Porto. If Juve don't win Serie A then that's 8 teams with higher coefficients than them as things stand. If Zenit don't win the Russian league then they have a higher co-efficient as do Napoli & Sevilla.

No easy pickings from that lot.

Not only that if Italian sides do well in europe this year will mean only 3 CL places for english sides next year

Nice to see the Glazers are going to be taking nearly £16m out of the club, annually, as a share dividend!

It's like they just don't get it. THIS is why the Glazers bought United, to screw them for every penny they could. They're not here as benevolent owners, or to improve United, they're here to make money.

In a strange way I actually think it could be a good thing for his career; perhaps the pressure on him was too large after such a huge transfer! The expectations were being set too high for the young lad, I would imagine after returning from injury he will have much more humility and appreciate how fortunate he has been and use this to his advantage

That's what always makes me smile when Man U fans churn out the 'when the sheik gets bored' line or 'when the oil runs out'. The Glazers (and FSG) are in this game purely for the money, every decision they make is based on a 'what will give the best financial return''. They'll both be long gone before the sheik gets bored or the oil runs out.

Which is a great pity. The longer these vampires bleed the rags and don't care if they win trophies as long as they finish 4th and pick up sponsorships from official Indonesian incontinence pads partners and the like the better.

they are misguided in the extreme - the Glasers borrowed money to buy a business to make them, the Glasers, money. That's how they operate in the US and to be frank how they have operated at the swamp since they took over. I fact that is the whole reason why FCUM were started at the Moston swamp and why all those Norwich protests took place and scarves were sold. They were campaigning against the Glasers because of the leveraged buyout and their plans to "take a wage" out of the club.

They soon shut the fuck up when they won a few things and the Glasers were in charge but now its all gone to shit and its being shown how their vast incomes are frittered away on fake Galacticos and in pay packets for the Glasers rather than in any meaningful investment they are fucking moaning again.

I am sure when they read that quote the Glasers one word answer was - Why?

MUST are not FCUM. They are the Supporters Trust and they knew exactly what the Glazers' takeover meant for the club. There used to be a fair bit of antipathy between the two groups as well. FCUM have this holier than thou attitude. Like their real rag counterparts, they think they re-invented football.

Over on Rag Cafe a few were getting quite giddy at the possibility of overtaking Real Madrid on turnover when next year's accounts come out.Their mood darkened when it was suggested we might overtake them when we announce this year's figures!
