Not really. I already thought it was pretty clear she wasn't going to go back to work there. They'd made it impossible for her to carry on. I just dont think the reasoning is to do with her messing around with john terry.

Most of the rumours that have circulated seem to suggest mourinho simply didn't like her. Then they wanted to scapegoat somebody for the fact costa was having ongoing injury problems (when it was their own fault for buying him).

After Mourinho's outburst about her running onto the pitch became embarrassing theyve reverted to their usual tactic of smearing the innocent party to deflect attention off themselves. All this sounds way more plausible than her destroying her entire career for a nob like john terry.

I feel a bit sorry that somebody could be mugged off by their employer like that and then have their professionalism called into question on top of that.

I dont know anything about your source, but the whole idea doesn't add up to me. Only my opinion of course.
 
Costa's ban is a result for football. Hopefully, refs will watch him a little better now as he's worth 3/4 reds a season.

On a side note although provoked the Arse lad's ban should have stud, a flick out is a ban, SWP, Dunne, Petrov off the top of my head.

Because they don't have 4 eyes. You might see the stuff he does on TV, but all this aggro is on the borderline and on the blind side of the ref.

Ultimately his manager is to blame. He knows what's going on, in fact I think Mourinho encourages the dark arts. He could tell him to cut it out.

I think refs know what he does, but they have to ref what they see, and so much with Costa is off the ball.
 
The thing is, as has happened with this latest episode, it doesn't really matter wether the ref sees it or not as long as it's caught on TV.

Except if you look at the Gabriel sending off there is the slightest of flick out - not really captured on TV - that could not have caused any injury and the shit that is Costa goes mental berating the ref to take action. Its at that point the sensible ref thing to do is to take them both aside remind them they are both on a yellow and tell them to grow up - instead the ref dives into his pocket !!

For most I think its not just the slapping, scratching, diving and moaning that piss off over Costa its the fact that he dishes all that out but just won't take anything back - he got Gabriel set off as described above and earlier had been tripped and as he slid along on his knees he was gesturing to the ref to card the defender - something that I thought itself was deemed to be worth a card? Its the inconsistency within Costa ref foul play and the ref's inconsistency towards him that annoys. Hopefully he will be under watch now and Maureen will have plenty to moan about as Costa sees red himself.

While I think it was right Costa got banned, Gabriel's red should have stood as well..you can't go kicking out at opponents no matter how insignificant it looks..also he is a bit of a dirty bastard himself he should have been sent off against stoke for elbowing arnautovic. ..

I think the FA were making a point when they rescinded Gabriel's red card and a good one at that. They'll punish the common denominator in all these incidents and show leniency to those he's winding up and assaulting, because he's bringing the English game into disrepute.
 
Blimey, I wouldn't have thought Alan Davies was capable of such a hard hitting (and more importantly, precisely correct IMO) analysis of Chelsea FC. Excellent piece.

The very same - a Gooner I believe too. Setting any partizan London bias aside thats a hard hitting analysis which represents what most supporter feel about Chelski - nice that somebody has the platform to do it.

I wonder if he calls Bergkamp a violent sociopath thug for all the times he elbowed and stamped on opposition? Alan Davies is one of those Arsenal fans who goes on rants whenever they lose about how everyone else should be banned. He's pretty much the epitomy of why everyone hates Arsenal fans. His pathetic rants are on youtube, he's the type who constantly bitches and moans about Nasri being a mercenary, but then at the same time claiming that he doesn't care because he was shit anyway. He's a child
