I can see the likes of you and Damocles becoming millionaires after a cup finalLooks like the club are going to be trialling print at home tickets in the coming weeks.
If it helps prevent the farce that happened at the Juventus game then it has to be a good thing.

I'd rather they just update a single contactless card properly, I mean, how hard can it be to have 1 ticket that works?
All that will happen is a bunch of people will end up trying to scan A4 pieces of paper into the turnstile and there be more chaos, or your barcode on it will only work for Aberdeen v Dundee Utd.

One thing that worries me with this is the touts who will print off 50 copies and pass em on. Happens a lot at concerts so bound to affect football too.

If the ticket has big lettering on it saying YOU MUST CARRY A VALID FORM OF ID WITH THIS TICKET LINKED TO THE SUPPORTER NUMBER then it might save some time and you'd imagine people buying from touts would see that and question it.

Only the first one to try will get in, of course. The paper tickets are simplicity itself to copy these days so I'm Not sure that would be a valid reason not to do it. Even season cards can be passed back through the railings and sold on.

Do also make sure that your printer is turned on and that all cables are connected correctly. Please use plain A4 white paper only. A) Admittance to the stadium will be allowed only the first time the barcode is scanned. Protect your ticket as you would any other event ticket by keeping it in a safe place or print just prior to attending the match.
Q) I deleted my email – what should I do?
A) If you accidentally deleted your email before printing your tickets please call us on 0871 663 1878*. We will immediately cancel the entitlement on the original print at home ticket and re-issue.
Q) What if I don’t receive my confirmation email and attachment?

- Do remember to check your email address is correct, valid and current prior to purchase. You can do this by visiting the ‘update details’ section of e-ticketing.
- Don’t change your registered email address after you have purchased your tickets as the tickets will not be sent to this email address.
- Do protect your ticket as you would any other ticket. Keep it dry and print on A4 white paper.
- Don’t shrink your ticket, print on colour paper or damage/deface the barcode.
- Do only print your ticket once.
- Don’t photocopy your ticket if you have the original, the ticket can only be scanned once and multiple entries will not be permitted.

I haven't got a smart phone. No reason why printed tickets shouldn't work. I can fly all over the world with one I should be able to get in the stadium with one.Why not just have them on your smartphone to scan in. Like you do with boarding passes these days
